NEW YORK - Rap feuds aren't usually about differing opinions on
President Bush. However, that appears to be the case between 50 Cent and Kanye West.
50 says he disagrees with West's infamous statement that "
George Bush doesn't care about black people," proclaimed during a September telethon for Hurricane Katrina victims.
"I think people responded to it the best way they can," 50 told ContactMusic.com. "What Kanye West was saying, I don't know where that came from."
Instead, 50 said, "The New Orleans disaster was meant to happen. It was an act of God."
It wouldn't be the first time 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, made comments that weren't flattering of West. In a September interview with MTV, 50 — while otherwise complimentary of the popular "Gold Digger" rapper — said: "I feel like Kanye West is successful because of me."
"After 50 Cent, (hip-hop fans) was looking for something non-confrontational, and they went after first thing that came along. That was Kanye West, and his record took off."
West's second album, "Late Registration," has remained near the top of the charts since debuting Aug. 30.
50 stars in the upcoming film "Get Rich or Die Tryin," a biopic of the rapper that is set to open Nov. 9.

No...you're just easily bamboozled. If they constantly serve bullshit... some will learn to like it. If the media is your only choice of brainfood... than you'll starve. Take it to the old school and hunt for the brainfood of choice. I was playing that "Ya Boy" video clip for the fam the other day, and my 12 year old cousin already knew what his face looked like soon as it came on. Without BET, MTV, or radio play in SAC... real niggas is building fan bases. 50 is hot to me... I don't agree with everything he does... but who an I to argue. I do know if I get tired of seeing him i can turn the channel, or log on the Siccness and download a grimy turf video and support it. 50 Cent is the biggest franchise of rap at the moment, he's the Mc Donalds of Rap. See em everywhere, gotta love the Sides, but you know that the "Beef" isn't real.
I don't really care for him at all. I only liked one song and that's in the club. Its gonna be hard for me to pick up Dr. Dre's new Album Detox because you know 50 will be all over that album. And I don't want to support his garbage. He's gonna make a killing off of that movie coming out and it makes me sick.
How can another man's sucess make "You" angry? If he ain't made money off of my hard work... than why care? I hated Silk Tha Shocka when he was everywhere... but the key word is "HATE" and I had to seperate that flaw in me from what the real is. I was hating a sucessful black man, becuase his image didn't cater to "MY" ego. I listen to every nigga who post something on this board in an effort to support the movement. Half of the shit I listened to "WILL NOT" make it to CD-R for listening pleasure, but I respect the fact that they reached out thru this outlet to promote their choice of music. I'd probably be banned if told ya'll I don't like X-Raided... but why do that... when I can obviouly see that there is a lot of people on this site that do! To each his own... now if ya'll hate 50 so much.... somebody upload that whole damn DVD he released with the Massacre Re-issue.
word about tha fifty water. i jus noticed today (recouping from being sicc all week), my girl bought some uv his vitamin water to "replenish" my energy and i'm lookin at t.v. and lookin at my drink, then lookin at this best buy advertisement on my coffee table advertisin grodt, and i'm like, this motha fucca is EVERYWHERE!!!!! shit, wutever tho, more power to him.
