Every team NEEDS a player like Nocioni to do the dirt. He doesn't have to be great, that's what Kobe is there for.

Players like Tyrus Thomas or Nocioni don't grow on trees. Thomas is going to be a monster in 2 (yes 2) years as long as he doesn't get hurt. As athletic as he is, at his size and the fact that he plays 94 feet? Shit, you don't let that go after 1 year. Once he slows himself down, it's a WRAP for the league.

Thomas is Stromile Swift. Period. Good player...nothing real special. Can jump out of the building...that's about it. So-so on offense, defense is fair.

I'd do it in a second...Kobe for those two? Of course...

yeah they are very similar players, but i think tyrus thomas has way more potential than stromile swift. i think thomas has more athleticism than swift.

Of course you don't take a deal like that if you're the Lakers. I wasn't proposing that though. I was saying as long as you DON'T get rid of those two when you go after Kobe. It might suck to lose Heinrich though.

I see Tyrus Thomas being a game changer as long as his attitude doesn't sour (see Dunk Contest, lol). He just needs to slow ... down.

Stromile Swift? :cheeky: Hardly... Thomas is more explosive on the boards and defensively. Again, once he slows down, he'll get more minutes and have the opportunity to up his numbers which are already kinda :eyecross: close to Swift's. Per 48 minutes Thomas' numbers are probably already better than Swifts

Take a look at Swift in college; same player, IMO. I don't see this tremendous upside that you seem to think Thomas has. No disrespect; I just don't see it.

If they DON'T trade him, I hope he does turn into a ''game changer''...I'm a Bulls fan.

I aint trippin, I'm just sayin I see a rawness and natural ability (on both ends of the floor) in Tyrus Thomas that I didn't see in Swift when he came into the league.

Keep in mind that Stromile has been in the league for six or seven years and Tyrus Thomas only been in the league for 1... Thomas will surpass Swift in productivity NEXT SEASON (unless he gets hurt).
