You got skills 6footah indeed. I started dabbling into southern homestyle cooking for quite sometime. Collard greens are one of my personal favorites but when i make em they just dont come out with the consistancy as you have displayed. Can you hook me up with a simple recipee but with great results?

You need your grease hotter when you fry your chicken.

Just put enough water in the greens to cover them. You do not want to boil them in hella water.

man they had a soul food night where i used to work, and i never had collard greens before, so i was like wtf is this?? your chicken looks bangin tho!

Usually, I make mustard greens. Sometimes I will mix some collard greens in, but I like the flavor of mustard greens better.

ill have to try out the mustard greens next time. I recently just bought a deep fryer pressure cooker, still learning how to use it. thanx for that food for thought tidbit. I'll have to take pics for this weekends upcoming bbq. Lately my macaroni n cheese has been a fan favorite....

It looks good, but lately I've been eating organic / mild foods for the most part.

I would grub on that shit every once in a few though.

PS I can not stand collard greens.
