you should be able to beat the case if you don't have amplified sound and received a ticket for it. I'd take pictures of the deck & speakers as well as empty trunk proving you don't have woofers. also see what the specific decibels you are allowed to have playing and what sound your stereo emits. did the cop search your car? you are given a chance to ask the cop questions, you can ask him if he found an amp in the car and if not how to amplify sound with no amplifier. I'd fight it, but that's just me. where was this also?

lol you know this is funny to me. I thought you were going to make some good point on this but the fact your simply pointing out you didnt know you could get a ticket for amplified music or the other ones they like to call it is "Noise pollution" and "disturbing the peace within a 50foot radius" is funny. They have been doing these kind of tickets since before 99 when my friend got his first one. I would get a remote cut off switch that when flipped kills the subs so you only have trebble or learn to be quick on turning it down if you see a cop. The remote bass knob works well for this too but not as good as a switch. I have learned over the years when I have my shit up i am always on the prowl looking for cops when I am driving. You get pretty good at it after 10yrs of looking lol.
I aint a law expert homie but I really dont think there's a citation 4 "amplified sound" and if thats what he wrote on your ticcet, you should be straight as far as gettin that shit dismissed in court.
From my experience- a cop once rolled on me 4 my system at the mall and he ended up bein cool, lettin me slide and he explained that if your shit can be heard from 30 feet away it constitutes Disturbing the Peace and thats what he could cite me 4 and I think it was gonna be about a bucc fifty like some of the others said for the fine.

theres a certain decibel level your music has to be at. if you can prove your decibel level is under that in court, youre all good.

i know you can get a ticket for loud music the point was that he fucking gave me a ticket for it...i just wanted to know the price people have paid when they received a ticket for DTP or whatever its actually called. And this cop was hiding in between the building and a house in a cutty spot so i didnt see him till I passed him.I keep my eyes on the look out but hey shit happens and i got this BS ticket.
