I actually agree with your schedule assement redrum, the reason i picked them to beat philly is the niners play them pretty well in SF, and DET cuz martz knows those players well

lol @ it being an easy schedule, they have 1 of the hardest......
Don't exaggerate they don't have one of the hardest schedules. The 3 hardest teams they play are the patriots, giants and cowboys. I'd say they have a medium difficulty schedule.

1 Sep 07 ARI @ SF 4:15 PM Niners
2 Sep 14 SF @ SEA 4:05 PM Seahawks
3 Sep 21 DET @ SF 4:05 PM Niners
4 Sep 28 SF @ NO 1:00 PM Saints
5 Oct 05 NE @ SF 4:15 PM Patriots
6 Oct 12 PHI @ SF 4:15 PM Eagles
7 Oct 19 SF @ NYG 1:00 PM Giants
8 Oct 26 SEA @ SF 4:15 PM Seahawks
9 Bye
10 Nov 10 SF @ ARI 8:30 PM Cardinals
11 Nov 16 STL @ SF 4:05 PM Niners
12 Nov 23 SF @ DAL 1:00 PM Cowboys
13 Nov 30 SF @ BUF 1:00 PM Bills
14 Dec 07 NYJ @ SF 4:05 PM Jets
15 Dec 14 SF @ MIA 1:00 PM Niners
16 Dec 21 SF @ STL 1:00 PM Rams
17 Dec 28 WAS @ SF 4:15 PM Niners

You guys do play the toughest conferance (NFC East) but also play in the weakest so it kind of balances out..

You will not sweep the cardinals or Sea split at best and STL is up for grabs depending on which STL team shows up this year..only AFC team you have a shot at beating is MIA but don't get your hopes up

If I happen to draft Frank Gore I will be rooting for you guys to put up a lot of points and still lose

2-0-sixx I think your predictions are right on target

I havent being paying that much attention to the niners this preseason but some of you guys must be seeing some out of the niners Im not, to say 7-8 wins. Its that JT guy pretty descent or somthing? Because Ill say about 4-5 wins with that schdule this year.

If anyone wins for the team it'll be the defense and WR Josh Morgan.

JT will do better than people have been giving the niners credit. Why does a guy like Matt Schaub or Aaron Rodgers or Philip Rivers get all this hype that O'Sullivan hasnt? Well besides being them maybe being high profile picks (maybe), they were all backups. And granted, they were backups to good quarterbacks, but O'Sullivan getting the starting job is not necessarily a fluke. Obviously the niners and everyone else want Alex Smith to start, but hes garbage right now. So I think O'Sullivan is gonna get the job done. Im sure he'll make mistakes, but i guarantee Smith would make more, or worse mistakes. O'Sullivan is not gonna be the key piece to the puzzle, and he doesnt need to be. The niners will be alright. For them its not just one person, it really is different parts of the team that have to perform. The defense is solid, special teams can and should be solid, and their offense gets a new start. Lets not forget Gore is projected to get 25 carries a game and 80-100 catches this season. We'll still have Vernon Davis, Bruce, Johnson, and Morgan looks dope! Decent line, good fullback situation, all the tools that can help O'Sullivan do what he needs to do. Hey, at least its not Trent Dilfer.

not being a homer or nothing...I think niners are looking at 8-8 season and with the division being as bad as it is, they might give the seahawks a race for the divison...

JTO has been real surprising in the preaseason...if he plays like that in the regular season and our WR step up, we can be good team.
