everyone 4 a whhile was slappin bay shit
They named a few acts. n hell i'd be in Vegas, reno, Dago, the Az, n hear RBL, Lynch, & X-Raided. I heard Lynch and X out on the east coast back in the day. i wuz like wow they know ho these catz r? so the bay gets played, just not that much on the radio - music companies and radio station companies out of NY, the south a few in LA - what u think they gonna play? What's a bigger question is what happened to LA, other then Game who's doing a damn thing. All this southern shit soundz the same to me n its get played too, fuck that.

Hyphy hit the mainstream, but as crunk and screwed music did it dropped off for a while. The artists just need to come out with some new music. It will happen. Dont trip. My take on the whole thing is Hyphy shouldnt be the only brand of bay area rap that gets attention, Mob Music and backpack can do it too. I think too many artist tried to mak the switch. I love Keak but I think he needs to go back to the style that made me love his music. Hi Tek, Sneakacydal music, I aint sayin what he is doin is wrong or not making enough noise, I just think every artists in the bay should do what got them were they are today. They know what they are doin so sit back and relax and whatch the Bay do its thing. 1

it aint a movement if the bay cant even get along with the bay let alone city violence within itself and blocks and blocks /neighborhoods endless war games and battles...not to many people really bein they self and or scared to be,results = fake impressions to mass media, when people say its can then they call it "hatin" people bullshitin, thats why we keep gettin overlooked while the real artist thats tryin to put out real good music has to work 20x times harder...real good music will prevail...

Yep , this movement will come to a close, only to be replaced with yet another "movement", that will be equally stupid, or even worse. See the problem with "hyphy" is simple and is indicative of rap music in general,...lack of creativity, everyone is a copycat, lack of creativity, pushing a lack of style as a "new style", cars don't make good music, neither do the fools rappin about them, hyphy is dead and so is hip hop, for basically the same reasons. I know that sounds harsh, and for some weak stomached teenager who got schooled about bay hip hop on the internet I know it sounds harsh, but fools these days just want to get paid, no actually let me rephrase that fools just want to be famous.

there was a hyphy movement going?

5000 hyphy rappers and only 15 of them didn't sound the same..

I blame myspace and the established rappers for not checking the rap game in the bay...

it's saturated...

Why dont rappers retire when it's thier time?
FOr example San QUinn has put out many classic albums, but The Rock was a step down from I Give You My Word and I think he should retire while he is known as one of the, if not THE greatest from Frisco
IMO
