^^^i dont know what u guys are talking about...maybe the South "owns" mainstream rap for right now, but thats only as long as record labels and stations see the south as a way of making money...hip hop is so unstable and dispensable that it could move to any region, any time...the south should be dependable, but i dont think that people REALLY know whats going on in the south, they only know bubba sparxx, dem franchise boyz, d4l, chamillonaire, paul wall, etc. (not that a few of those artists are bad)...all im saying is nothing is guaranteed and to say that anyone has a hold on the game is bullshit...now, the underground game, thats a little different...the south may have the stronghold on it, maybe new york, but thats another (and better) argument.
