All Jay-Z was doing was bragging about how rich he is, at the expense of Hammer. It's not like anything Jay said wasn't true anyway lol. It's a widely known story about Hammer's financial woes in the 90's. He just used it as a comparison.

And like some others have said, that beat slaps and should not have been used for a song of this manner.

100 different rappers have used similar lines about MC Hammer spending all his money, so i dont believe that the song and video was strictly made because of that. he's obviously doing it because he wants some exposure


hammer should just make a song dissing every rapper that has ever made a joke about him losing 30mill

As far as Hammer is concerned, its a smart move for him. We all know he is a Christian, there is BIG MONEY in the Gospel Rap genre. Most have us have seen the videos and have been hearing about the alleged Devil worship, and illuminati connects that Jay-Z has and is. So to the public eye (general public) it would be a classic confrontation of Good vs. Evil.

Example, look at those mega-churches that boast 25,000 strong congregations. Those same mega churches are definatley getting taught and are hearing about the "murder Jesus" lyrics Jay spit, and the Illuminati rumors...so here comes the Hammer (LOL)...he is gonna STAND UP to that corporate Lucifer backed machine (Jay-Z/Roca-Fel-A/Roc-A-Wear) with GOD behind him....perfect Hollywood script....
