If you're a working adult who makes good money, but does not have a bank account then you are fuckin dumb and ignorant.

How the fuck are you not going to have a bank account? How can you just keep cashing checks and storing your at home or in your pockets?

I'm tired of heaing people say, "I don't trust banks."

Shut yo mother fuckin ass up! How the fuck you going to build credit without a bank account if you're already not established?

before lenders issue you a credit card they want to know if you have sufficient funds.

All the people I know without a bank account have no credit whatsoever.

anyone can get a credit card, they just make you bring your pay stubs in

if you make enough for the line of credit while subtracting your monthly bills, youll more than likely be approved

you just get a higher APR than someone with a bank account

i had to settle for a fucked up credit rate to begin with..and after a year or two youre able to apply for something lower

if you have a job, someone will help you out..i know when i got a job, i started getting dozens of credit card offers in the mail monthly

Go to your bank and ask about a secured credit card. The interest rates will be high, but its a start. It will require a deposit anywhere form $150-500. So whatever you deposit is what your credit limit will be. Thats what I did.

I actually applied for a credit card, but then bank of america sent me an email about a special promo they had for a secure card. They only required a $150 deposit and my credit limit was $500. I fucked with that card for a 6 months then applied for another credit card and got approved. This was 2 years ago. Good thing I didn't have a credit card while in my teens. I would have had fucked up credit. My fico is now 711. Jeah!

yeah...not everyone needs a bank account..theres some people who cant keep a checking account for shit..even with a online checking account

i guess debit cards are good for some people wheras credit or checking cards are not

try and get one from capitol one, they gave me one on my first try. started with a $300 limit then up'd it to 500 3 months later.

hella funny though because when i wanted to get a credit card from my bank they werent fuckin wit me, soon as they saw my bank acct get active, they were askin me left and right and sendin all kinds of things in the mail

my car note and my lil rinky dink 500 dollar limit capitol one credit card is all i need right now , it got my credit lookin real good.

also as far as the apr shit and percents. i have no idea what those mean haha. i just pay my bill and keep it movin til next month

Some people that make a load of money dont put it in bank accounts so they dont have to pay taxes on it. But yea grown folks usually have at least 1 account open somewhere

well first off i dont see why other peoples credit matters or what they do with thier money but i had a bank account for like 5 years, applied for credit cards and never got approved for one. my credits been fucked up. dont have an account no more, got tired of payin to get my own money from atm's. your banks atm isnt always around when you need it unless you wanna take a drive N waste $20 in gas goin a few miles to pull out $20. but thats me.

people don't have bank accounts for 2 reasons, they are scared they are gonna get their wages garnished because or child support, in collectionsor they owe the IRS. For some reason 90% of the old mexican dudes I call at work don't have bank accounts but can come up enough loot to cash out 5000 dollar credit cards. some folks just don't trust banks
