This game was cancelled by Nintendo's request. It will not ever be coming out for a non Nintendo system.
money always influences decisions. it wont be ever coming out on a nintendo system as rare is owned by MS. If it could come out on nintendo it would have already happend (besides n64), MS is still tryin to get that game to come out on XBLA. And the rights to the james bond franchise is owned by like THQ right now.

Rare made the game and 007 is not a Nintendo exclusive license, so I don't see how that could be a factor...Perfect Dark was a N64 exclusive and they still dropped a sequel on XBOX

Key word being sequel. I doubt we owuld ever see a PD N64 port on XBLA.

I personally dont see what the big fuss is. Perfect Dark was better. Goldeneye DID steal tons of my life away from me back in the day, but I dont think it aged well. FPS on consoles has come so far since Goldeneye dropped. Shit I wsh they would update Halo on XBLO and give that multiplayer.

Yeah. but someone said, it couldn't be brought over because it's a remake, when i thought I remember Conker being remade for Xbox.. I thought they kept all the same original levels, just updated graphics, multiplayer and bonus shit.

But, maybe Goldeneye would be tougher because Rare doesn't own the 007 license.

Nintendo owns the game code, as they published the title on the N64. Rare has little to do with it. I'm not sure who owns the Bond liscense, but it doesn't matter... Nintendo has stated they don't want Goldeneye on XBLA.

1 of the few reasons why I bought a Xbox 360 was for a Banjo Kazooie remake and it never came out. It should have been out this past November.

This is a direct quote from a certain magazine in which I can't say the name or else I'll get banned.

"I know you kids love your multiplayer Halo, but before Master Chief even started the fight, a suave spy started the competitive shooter craze. Too young to remember, kiddos? Well, I'm referring to the Nintendo 64 classic GoldenEye 007. Many oldsters like me would like to play it again on Xbox Live Arcade. Microsoft apparently wanted this to happen too, but it sadly cancelled the 007 port even though it was cocked and ready to go. Way to shake (and stir) up controversy, Microsoft"
