Ganxsta NIP is from South Park Houston Texas and he has list of impressive CDs from the past. He started out with the South Park Psycho and then followed with Psychic Thoughts, Psychotic Genius, Interview With A Killa and Psycho Thug. I haven't heard his latest CD but I received it this morning in the mail. After what I've heard this record does not reach the standards of his previous ones. I believe that there has been a review on in on amazon.com. You may wanna check there.
Nip was on Rap-A-Lot during his best years and he is known as the originator of the horrorcore style, at least in Houston. I know a lot of bay cats would rather like to give a title like that to Lynch Hung... If you find any of his early CDs pick it up because they are very good. You can find out more about him and his crew South Park Coalition on www.southparkcoalition.com

I don't think the new NIP is as bad as so many people think. I got it yesterday and have listened to it. There are some tracks that are not good, but if you like NIP you'll get some good tracks as well. I mean, if you like the production of Dope E you'll get some of hi tracks there. There is a track there called psycho ballin that is just incredible and worth buying the album all by itself. Don't remember the producer there though.
There are some problems with this release and the major problem is the poor mastering. Many tracks just don't sound well mixed resulting in poor sound quality. The other problem I have is the same as with every rapper that includes already released tracks on new albums. I think this is the third time NIP releases an album with the track Do You Like Scary Movies. No matter which rapper you are, if you include earlier tracks on your new albums to fill up the numbers you're disrespecting your fans.

But as a conclusion, I don't think his new album is not as bad as many say, but compared to his earlier stuff it's coming up short. I liked many of his new tracks.
