I dunno, this shit is a little different. Nobody is making horror movies saying this is what they do all day when they're not making movies... But rappers do.
There aren't many rappers that come out and say that ain't what they're doing or that they're doing it all for entertainment... Also this is a genre of music where being "real" is important to a lot of listeners... So when you buy the music you usually know what kind of people you're supporting... So if you don't support what they're doing and feel strongly against what they talk about, why would you listen to it?

@ 707BALLA...this is the reason I don't listen to A LOT of Bay Rap. I know I'll never support Nickatina cause every time my girl was tweakin she was singin' his shit. You gotta understand the point of view of the cats that live on the different side, feel me? I done lost too many people to drugs, and now my future wife is servin' a prison sentence cause of some bullshit associated with meth. Every time I walk the streets downtown I see somebody gone off crack or heroine. So excuse me for not feelin' for these cats and for NOT sayin' fuck the feds over this, but I've seen too many people lose EVERYTHING, even their lives in some cases, over a habit that some cat kept feeding. I would NEVER serve an addict a potential death sentence just so I can have some money!!

There is not one person I've met or that I know that loves taking the shit they take...not only do they tell you they're stuck in a hole, but you can see it in their eyes.

i've lost loved ones to drugs, some are in heaven, some are in prison cells, some are homeless...
but nobody ever made them pick up that pipe...
now, if all these drug dealers were rich kids who had lots of oppurtunities i'd say FUCK THEM
but the thing is, the system is built for the poor to have to resort to crime, so they can get in trouble and be institutionalized...
the Govt is made of rich people, who wanna die rich...

The crystal game is nasty business man. I never fucked with it directly but i was around it pretty much every day a couple years ago, couple of friends went downhill and crashed, and i saw what was up. That shit is fucked up. Its not even in the same genre as coke, i see it being much much worse cuz even though coke gets you twacked out and shit, it doesnt get you 'that' delusional and crazy.

I feel you and Mark 7, I know what y'all sayin. Like I said earlier, you gotta look at it from 2 different perspectives. Sorry to hear about your fiancee homie. But you can't blame it on the dealers, it ain't like they beggin people to buy their shit, you should blame the feinds and the buyers cuz only their selves are fuckin up their own lives. It's just something I could never understand because, like I said, I wouldn't serve people some shit that will hurt them like that. I know it was her fault for doin it, and she knows it too, THANK GOD she realized it even though she had to catch a case before hand...she was headed for the grave and that's realer than real, so all I can do is count blessings for her and I both that she got caught up....if it wasn't for her actions, I would be visiting a grave and not the state prison.

When my girl was doin' that shit it was a BAD time for me, really hard, and I was doing EVERYTHING in my power to help her...but someone on shit can only get help if they WANT help. She was hard headed, and independent, so she was too proud to get help from anybody.
