LOL... not to stick up for Comcast or anything cuz I cant stand the fuckers, but actually those screenshots are a complete misrepresentation... I've had directv, I have Comcast now, never had Fios but I've seen it... I've never had a problem with Comcast HD aside from occasional pixelation due to signal issues which was fixed with an amp... I've got a Bravia V-series 42" LCD hooked up HDMI to a Motorolla DVR, I get crystal clear picture on all my HD stations (aside from a couple of locals every now & then due to their signal)... I've NEVER seen a crappy quality picture like that on my cable HD stations.. it's upconverted to 1080p just fine on my TV... and as far as the "true" 1080p Dish Network has now (they call it "Turbo HD") I've heard nothing but complaints about it so far with people sayin they either notice no difference in quality or an actual reduction in quality over what it was before, could just be the kinks they're working out of a new system but still... I can't stand Comcast as a company or for customer-service issues, but I can't complain about the actual service I've received, whereas when I had DirecTV their customer service sucked and my picture was always fucked up...

ive had comcast for a couple years now.. their HD is nice but it could be better, when using an amp tho its kinda hit or miss, because there is such thing as too much signal so you have to start low probably like 5db and work up to 25db.

that turbo hd shit by dish network is only for their VOD service and probably only for a couple of shows. regular channels and live events wont even broadcast in 1080p. VOD = video on demand

ive been sayin this for years Directv HD > Comcast HD

directv is crystal fucking clear and sharp as fuck. you see lots of pixelation in comcast even when there is no reason you should see blocky video.

and as far as directv not gettin service is complete bullshit, ive had directv for years in the east bay and its maybe gone out for a couple of minutes here and there but for an extremely bad storm. but after having both comcast and directv there is no comparison as directv outshines comast in the HD quality department.

I THINK THE PROBLEMS WITH THEM PICS IS THAT COMCAST GETS BLURRY WHEN U PAUSE A SHOW... BUT WHEN U PLAY IT IT LOOKS FINE...
