Well, the dude has been involved in the game for over 10 years, sold plenty of albums, has some crazy merchandise sales ( I know for a fact, we run the merch side together ), just got done with a huge tour ( a real tour lol )...easily has done more than 80% of the Bay Area "legends"...so again, you may not dig his music but the man is from the Bay Area and has done some big things...

I mean everyone's got different opinions and shit ya know and I respect yours 100% that's just the guy I am, but it's just I don't really think selling a lot makes you a legend. I mean I think to be a legend, you gotta really do something to effect people. I don't think Mars has done something that big.

It's big but that's not what I'm talking about. Ask someone on the street in the bay area who Mars is, there's a big chance they ain't gonna know him. Ask a rap fan who Mars is, there's a big chance they ain't gonna know. Shit ask a siccness user who Mars is, most only know him as the guy with the mask who argued with Freaks about a bitch haha. I'm just saying, I'm not hating nor I'm I speaking down on him, but callin him a bay area legend is really stretching it. I have no doubts he's sold very many records, fans of that genre are hardcore and give some of the best support you can get. But would you really put him up there with the likes of E-40, $hort, Pac, Mac Dre, Hiero, RBL, Khayree, Baldhead Rick & Cougnut, etc? I wouldn't.
