Sup my Siccness folkz.... I just got back from Portugal yesterday, out there for the first two weeks of the tourney, saw hella matches, Portugal Russia, Portugal Spain, England Croatia etc though had to break off a lot of bread for the tickets.

Weather was hot, local breezies were fine, and Portugal rocked it after a bad start, beating England was off the hook.

Its my home country so peeped some hip hop while I was out there, heard some cool local joints, kicked it in some tight bars, the place is hella chilled as far as racial mix, its the most multi-cultural place in Europe, every colour and race mix it up and get along, don't all keep themselves to themselves like in a lot of England.

Got to be Portugal, Czech or Holland now, though saw Sweden whoop Bulgaria when I was out there and figure they might put something on, and you can't fuck with the Greeks, they keep upsetting everybody lol....

And to the UK heads, saw Blak Twang (for US heads, pretty much the most established hip hop act in the country) out in Lisbon watching the England France game at the fan park getting pretty worked up about it. The other dude (not Tony Rotten MC) was rocking a pink top Camron style and spent the entire match trying to buy a beer lol...

FORCA PORTUGAL...

Damn! Germany's out, I actually like they way they played. Dude from Czech Rep. free kick was tight. Anyways, predictions for the next round:

Portugal - 1, England - 1 - England scores goal in extra time to win

i wish... the goal in the last minutes got disallowed... We lost on penalties. Beckham took a leaf outta Johnny Wilko's book and kicked it over the bar.. 'ball...over bar....win'..

if only the dog were there in them last minutes...

Nah, I ain't chill with them, they was just stood over from me at the fan park, I think I was the only dude who knew who they were though - I seen Blak Twang live in Bristol so I recognised. I was gonna go big him up but people were caught up in the football and he seemed to be with his girl so I let it slide. Plus he prolly wasnt feeling too many of the people there, everyone else was ass-out lol, flip flops and shorts, big fat red beer bellies, and Blak Twang is there in ice cold threads, doo rag and cap.

On the note of his music, Dettwork South East is still the heaviest UK cut ever to me, and it still years and years old. Their two full albums were cool too, Red Letters on the first one, Kik Off on the newer one. And yeah, I remembered he was an Arsenal fan, made sense to be there watching England - France.

I should prolly add that wasn't me though lol... that was 95% of the English. I was rockin a Portugal training top and some NCCA shorts tryin to look low profile... some West Ham hoolie started on me the day before - ethnic and mixed race people out there are typically local - so after that I wasn't going to try and be with the English folks. In the end though we all had a good time, he was in a minority, lots of tight England fans out there.

I like international soccer alot. Probably the most demanding sport around. I just hate the MLS. And David Beckham.
Yea, I agree MLS is garbage, especially after watching tight soccer from the rest of the world. Soccer is definately, IMO, the hardest sport to play, technically and physically. And on David Beckham, I think he's OK but I'm getting sick of the constant media circus that surrounds him.

Hmm, I'm really up in the air about this final...I'ma go with Portugal 1 - Greece 1, but Portugal wins in extra time or they win in penalties. Greece plays that defensive, counter-attacking football, plus they beat Portugal one time already. I don't see Portugal scoring a lot of goals in this one. The WholeDamn, you got me pissed man, you know what I'd give to be there...enjoy yourself tho and make sure to holla at them fine Portuguese chicks!

Hell yeah they do.

Matt Joke -- I agree. Beckham is very good. However the main reason why any of us know his name is because he knows how to dress and is probably the biggest attraction for women since Brad Pitt became big. But I guess thats how media works.

Yea the fucked up thing is that he used to ball for Manchester United, then all of a sudden the media got into every aspect of his life and now he's still good, but he can still be better...
