Is there any specific reason (business or street politics) why the coldest mouthpiece from Northern Cali (E-40), has never collaborated with the most successful producer from Southern Cali (Dr. Dre)????????? I personally feel Dr. Dre and E-40 should have collaborated long before 40 hooked up with Lil John. I just can't understand this, as a lifelong fan and supporter of West Coast Rap and Hip-Hop.

Cuz Dre just wants to work with pop artists. I think it's a bitch move when he isn't trying to put anyone on from Cali, but will help out 50, D12, Em, etc.

He is a great producer though.

cuz dre has a lable he has 2 run and is in house producer. he basically only fuck with aftermath, shady, and g-unit artists cuz him and em built the label for what it iz 2day. so i doubt he would go run and hook up a bay cat wit a beat and not b paid a HUGE amount for a beat. i forgot how much busta rhymes said a beat was from dre. artists are given a budget they have 2 work around in putting out the album 2 the market. So if Dr. Dre makes a beat for shady he gets also a cut by how good the album sales. so its all bout CAPITAL business politics of the music world.

40 IS GONNA BE ON DRE'S NEXT ALBUM!!!! THE SONG IS ALREADY FINISHED!!!!!

A BEAT FROM DRE USED TO GO FOR AROUND $275,000 AND THAT WAS AROUND THE TIME OF HIS LAST ALBUM
There is a difference between a track being made FOR an album and one that WILL be on an album.

Are you serious? Dre didnt get that "Sound" you hear now until he got with mel-man and scott storch. Dre used to be a heavy sampler. All the old snoop and the first chronic sounds nothing like the Chronic 2001 and everything he's done since. Mel Man basically ghost produced the entire chronic 2001 album and some of eminems old shit.

i think hes commenting on the dre today think about it who has dre done beats for lately only his labelmates. i dont think dre is all that anyway i will give it up to himback in the death row days but now hes weak and doesnt even make his own beats other people ghost produce his beats
