hey there RAS.....in the only d stat that matters you all were 19th!

points given up!

you didn't give up much yards because because everyone always had good field position.....let them have normal field position and theyards would be up....

only d stat that matters and has a direct correaltion to wins and loses is points given up.

Thanks to our offense for not being able to move the ball. We'll be ok though. Don't forget about our bet... we win 8 games I win the bet dog!

Exactly, but that doesn't change the fact that your D was not actually stopping anyone like that #3 rank suggests. Opponents just didn't have to rack up many yards to score, which means less total yards against your D, which translates into a better ranking (yardage-wise). A lot of raider fans conveniently dismiss that.

I see some wondering why they're addressing the defense.. It's because they have room for improvement in that area.. And I believe this was a great sign for the team. Don't let the ranking fool you people.

You've got good points. We still have to stop teams from getting in the end zone. I still think being ranked 3rd in total yardage is pretty good though. It's kind of hard to stop teams from scoring when the other team keeps getting good field position.

We'll see what happens this season... should be pretty interesting now that we'll field an offense... or at least some kind of offense.

Now that we've signed Darius... I can't wait til that new Madden comes out. Fools are going to be getting blasted...

That's true, but a truly good defense would hold them to field goals or stop them from scoring completely, even when they're put in a bad spot. They'd still score with field goals, but not nearly as many points so that would help the ranking in that area.

THOSE WERE CLEARLY OPINIONS HE STATED NO MATTER WHAT YOU BELIEVE. JUST LIKE WHAT YOU SAID...ITS AN OPINION.

Actually they were clearly facts!

Go look at NFL.com and count how many teams were ahead of the Raiders in least amount of points given up!

It's funny how a chargers, Niners and Broncos fans (usually enemy's themselves) all seen the same stats yet convienently you a Raider fan don't want to see what the rest of the NFL does.

They have low pass against #'s because thier run against #'s were shit!

There was no need to pass when you can run and get the same, if not better, results
