When I buy a c.d. I usually listen to it first in the listening section so I don't waste my money. So if there's some sic features it definitely catches my eye and I might check it out in the listening section. When I hear it if the features completely outshine the up and comer that says a lot. But if the artist can hold his own with some heated features that says a lot to the artist's credit. Would I buy someone's cd because they have a bunch of All Star's on there without hearing the music first? No.
Listening sections have been around for a while so I think that has to be considered.

Yes, but not if they are obviously over the phone verses.

Like I wouldnt buy an A-Wax cd with The Game on it, because I know they didnt do the track together.

ya, if theres a bunch of features pretty much says that, that artist is garbage and cant hold is own on a track, 3-4 features top a cd
thats not always the case though, I've heard a few albums with hella feat. and the artists whos album it is rips up every feat on there. how bout that.........

I remeber a while back there was a dude on here named Renz Julian who made a song with Clyde Carson on a Traxxamillion beat. I didn't know who Renz was but the features & production got me to give it a listen.

what helps me buy a cd is when you can hear the whole album not just that 30 second bull shit on rasputins listening station. i bought a few cds from tower because i got to knock the whole disc. i bought greedy riderlife sean t, san quinn the rock and more cause i got to hear the whole cd and not just a snippet.
