Nah.. I got no problem with him winning it. Like I said before, it was between him and Nash.. and he got it.

I do think, however, if the votes had been submitted after the first round, Nash woulda got it... but thats completely irrelevant.

Theres a reason why its called the 06-07 REGULAR season MVP If anybody hates on dirk because what happened in the playoffs, then that is just stupid

nash got screwed, after the warriors clowned dirk i figured nash woulda been a shoe in. hes still a great player though, good 4 dirk even if the 07 mavs will go in history as the biggest team to get upset in nba history.

It's called REGULAR SEASON MVP for a reason. Dirk Nowitzki led his team to the NBA's best record this year, and 5th best over all. During the season he played great (except those 3 games against the warriors lol) and he deserved to be MVP. Although the announcement comes after the first round, all votes are in before the playoffs start to make sure that there is no biased votes based on playoff performance. And as we know, the playoffs are not included in the regular season.

well he deserved it.. MVP is based on the regular season and Dirk did lead his team to the best record in the NBA... like the cats on espn said.. thats why they have postseason awards for those who are spectacular in the playoffs
