I don't get how a "fuck you" automatically equates to jealousy or hatin'... sometimes it's some underlying gangsta shit that people just don't know about. Quite often folks get so caught up in rappers being "entertainers" that they forget SOMETIMES cats be from real sets that have real problems outside of music.

When it comes to it with this music thing....who gives a fuck whos a thug or gangsta it comes down to whos professional and intelligent enough to get their shit right. And not do some stupid shit like start 'beef' with folks they dont even know or start beef with folks you know are doin some what better then you to get some 'shine'
Also, who in the biz that actually claim they are gangsta are actually out there doin 'gangsta' things"? And im talkin about the ones that are makin it in the music game.

It's good to see so many "GANGSTAZ" on the siccness forums (LOL) that can identify who is street and who's a thug...I ain't into the whole listing of my street stories or who my family is or what I have done because really-it's my business. I give glempses into what I have been through through music...not ALL that I have been through, but pieces. If a fraction of the niggaz that rap about the streets really did what they say they would either

a. Be incriminating themselves...because they allways get away with the shit
b. Be bad with money because with all of the coke they movin, it's funny to see them without that benz or whatever they got from being this prolific hustla.
c. Be a kingpen and not trippin off of the money that "regular" rappers make.
OR
d.Be in the pen

I think it's funny when judgements are passed via the downloading of an album of someone you never met from a city they never been to...I am just curious what is street- wht is Gangsta? Is it killing people because of beef? Is it living in the streets? Is it being from a ruff ass hood? Is it surviving the hardships of the streets or adding to the hardships of the streets? Is it fuckin hella broads or taking care of your children that came from fucking those same women? Is it getting shot gangsta or having the power or influence to help someone not get poped gangsta? Is it all of the' above? The point is that maybe 4 people on this forum personaly know who I am and they know what I am about. I just felt like responding...no I am not offended by the things said because (like I said) the people that know me outside of the music shit knows who I am...I just felt adding my two cents to the conversation.

Peace&Respect

I agree with Daddy Rich, you shouldn't say nothing if you aren't ready to handle your business. This is why alot of people don't respond to disses in songs and shouldn't feel pressured to do so if they aren't willing to deal with whatever may come next. Most of the time, it's just not worth it.

Fronlines Music is respected. Thats whats important !! Music is not a test of who is street and who is not. Music is a test of who is creative and who is not. Why should Hip Hop fall into any other class? Was Jim Morrison of the Doors and John Lennon of the Beatles beefin over who was more gangsta ? If what you r looking for in the music you listen to is Gangsta shit, then u have every right to not like someone who isnt Gangsta. But those opinions dont reflect those of us who think Frontlines Music is very credible and very good. As people, most of us dont know them. So unless you either live in lock or left's skin or your ear is constantly glued to the grapevine, i guess you really wont ever know if they are "GANGSTA" . But the music is solid. Thats all that matters to me. As far as knumbskull goes, watch the 5 on it remix video, thats real "Gangsta". I can hear his crys for help from here.
