I think The Frontlines music is on a different level and its so quality that they dont need to fuckin make diss records to get some pub.
Hey some artists may get their jollies off like that ya know, But that aint they style.
And there is a difference between Diss's and HIP HOP Freestyle Battles. I would like to see one of them dudes freestlye and tear it up (luniz or whomever)! Era time I see num or yuk perform they rappin over they own track, personally as a director I already see that as a weak form of artistry

Here's what I think (not that anyone cares at this point)..

A lot of this shit (where you're from, if you're a gangsta, how hard it was for you growing up, etc...) is not rellevent if the music is quality. The fans have been brainwashed to a point where they are focusing too much on everything that ISN'T the actual music. I shouldn't sell more records than you just because I got shot 3 more times than you did. But that's where we're heading. Kinda stupid if you think about it.

It's like making a movie but instead of marketing the story or characters, you market EXPLOSIONS and SPECIAL FX. If you're making a quality flick, you don't have to resort to appealing to the fans' carnal instincts.

If you're an NBA Fan you'll feel me on this - Don't you wish that the NBA and all of the little shows that hype up the NBA would focus back on actual BASKETBALL as opposed to the rest of the nonsense that's going on (Kobe, Shaq, Karl Malone etc...)... Ray Allen is lighting mufuckas up on a nightly basis and all I hear is "Kobe vs Shaq on Christmas Day" when I turn on my TV. Same thing with what's going on with music right now - it's turning into WWE.

^ Word, that shit is hella true about media and sports. But the whole thing is if we did not really give a fuck then that would not be news. For some reason people focus too much on what celebrities do, and I just dont understand that. That is why I try not to watch too much TV anymore. So I guess my point is people like beefs, controversy, and conflict.

Once again I ask why does a "fuck you" or an "I don't like them" figure to be jealousy. I have a few homegirls that are like that, whenever another chick doesn't like them for whatever reason or if shit doesn't go their way, it's because somebody, somewhere is hatin' on them or "they're just jealous"...thats a hella weak scapegoat that is used mainly by conceided broads and cocky niggas.

i think credability should play a small role in the judgement of a rapper but never be a deciding factor..if the hardest most known gangsta who did 25years for double murder dropped an album and it sounded worse than some kobe soz would u still bump it just cuz dudes a super OG? more than likely would be alot slower to talk shit thats for sure but i doubt you(the consumner who ONLY bumps shit from real ass certified g'z) would let that shit enter your disk changer..just my 2cents i can somewhat agree with both sides of this issue
