I think it would be the death of the Democratic party.
They're always running their mouths about "Diversity" and "Minorities Rights" and "Women's Rights" and all this other junk, and yet, you never see Black people in positions of authority within the Dem party.
Condi being President would finally make people do that INDEPENDENT RESEARCH, instead of just taking other peoples' word for it that Republicans=Bad, Democrats=Good.

Which is definately short sided and ignorant from my in-laws part, but it is how they, and possibly many black's, interpret Condi's rise to power.

The Racist to be most afraid of, is the White man who has been raised within a Minority culture (Black, Latino, etc.) and is considered "down", and that proceeds to go around labeling other Black/Mexican/Japenese people as "not ___", because they do not conform to that White Man's newly-found, racist definitions: the Black that speaks slang and doesn't "snitch", the Mexican that is required to speak Spanish, and so on. -- These are the most dangerous out of any Racists you will ever find.

With that having been explained, what I am telling you is that this Presidential position transcends all others. Bar none. There is not a single position in the world that even REMOTELY COMPARES to President of the United States of America.
And for this woman to be, not only the first Female President, but the First Black President, would send all the messages we've been trying to send since [Black voyagers first discovered this continent long before] the Pilgrims first arrived here on the Mayflower.

I do agree that ignoring race is good because it's not real. It's simply a social construct. I won't get into that, but just cause she's black and a chick, doesn't mean shit. Your original point was that it would be the end of the democratic party because it would somehow show that they are not for minority, and women, rights. And, it would somehow make people think objectively about the old ideologize of conservatives. But, if the minorities themselves have already excluded Condi as one of there own (which they may or may not have) then it is still a really tough sell. Yes, the appearance of it would be great, black woman as the most powerful person in the world, but would she be looked at as simply a pawn for conservatives? Remember, this is a woman who has been defending President Bush's actions for the past 6 or so years. Minorities, and to some degree women, are not just gonna forget her track record during that time, simply because she is Black, even though white america may think so. Now, don't get me wrong, i am not saying she would or would not be an ideal candidate, all i am playing is that, if she were to run, would she have Jesse Jackson's support (say what you say, he seems to rally Black America very)? How about other Black and minority leaders who minorities and Black America looks up to? The party lines just seem to divided to me....

While I agree, there is not a two party system. If you believe that, go back to wikipedia. There are multiple parties (independent, green, communist, socialist, etc etc etc). I do agree though that the Gov't/America wants people to think there are two parties because those two parties are the same they just don't say it.
I said somethin yesterday that some of my friends thought was a good idea. Now if/WHEN we have to form a revolution, since the gov't is going to take control, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when...And their little expansion world-wide to "get rid of al-Queda" is just another way to fuck everyone. But seriously, there's a SHIT load of people in our country that do NOT support the gov't, but most of these people are fighting each other. My main idea was gang members, but shit, there's a ton of them and if they all unified to fight against the one thing that really is trying to oppress them along with anyone and everyone else who hates the gov't, something would actually get done.
You got liberals tryin to get rid of guns, which is stupid. The reason we have the right to bear arms is to take over if we have to incase the gov't took too much power. Hense, what is going on RIGHT NOW and has been going on for a long ass time. Democrats and republicans are working together on this, to fuck the American people into doing what they want them to. Our country IS fucked. We ARE doomed. There is NO turning back and the system will not be fixed. The gov't will tell the people it's fixed, but it won't be. That's just their way of shutting people up so that the gov't can go about their corrupt business as usual.
