COMPUTER PROBLUMS!

My computer is all fucked up! when ever I try to boot up my fuckN' computer it comes to that screen where it asks you if you want to go to DOS mode,SAFE mode or NORMAL mode. No matter which mode I pick a BLUE screen pops up with this message: ERROR an I/O subsystum driver failed to load. Either a file in the .\iosubsys subdirectory is corrupt, or the systum is low on memory. (wich is not true because I just added a new memory chip 3 monthes ago) SYSTUM HALTED

IF I TRY TO RESTORE MY COMPUTER WITH THE RESTORE DISK THIS POPS UP:Windows=critical Error: OXOB Read Fault when I click ABORT the screen says:Cannot Open GHOST.ERR

Any1 know what to do? Im thinking throw the PC in the gutter and go buy another! But its only 1 year old has windows mel./CD-RW/DVD ROM so I wanna fix it too.

I'd suggest you just format your hard drive and start over and install Win98 over Win Me because Me is really nothing but a hassle.

ya juss reinstall every thing or go on and delte shit u juss dont need...but if r do decide to get a new comp juss take out the drivers ya cdr and dvd drives

DAMN it won't even let you run the restore disk. Don't throw your computer away or take out any drives. Leave it alone if it's only 1 year old you still have a good pc. You should just rebuild it. Are you sure your using the restore disk correctly? It should let you run it. I'm sure it has instructions with it, read over them and see if you are doing it correctly. It should run.

If it still doesn't work her is what you do. You are going to have to format your hard drive manualy. Get a boot disk. Put it in and boot up your pc. when it comes to the dos prompt, type in a:format C:/s/q. This will quick format your hard drive. That should work, because your hard drive should already be partioned. Then just put in your floppy boot disk that goes with your operating system and reload it. post up if you have any questions.
