ya adelphia just upped there speeds also. Its 4000/500. I pissed because I am only get 2500 of that. Sometimes I get 3000 and they tellin me that is normal. I was like fuck that shit. I guess even with 325kbps a sec downloads I shouldnt be complaining but I am greedy as fuck I want what I am paying for.

hey what do you guys think I should do about this problem. I pay for 4Mbps and currently I am getting about 2.5Mbits per second. Do you think I have room to complain? Adelphia is trying to tell me my speeds are actully good and 4Mbits per second is not guarannted. I know i aint gonna ger four but I feel I should break at least 3.

You can complain all you want theres nothing they will do. There are tips and tweaks to optimize your speed. Go to http://forums.speedguide.net/showthread.php?s=&postid=929863#post929863 and read that shit. Then go to the forum here http://forums.speedguide.net/forumdisplay.php?f=42 and post your answers to the questions in that thread where it says "6 questions that need to be answer before help". You gotta register before you post as well.


I just got the 6mbps down and 768 up, BLAZIN over here.

^^They told me the modem is just "hearing" the signal and trying to use it. Rather than the modem having the signal directly into the modem. The line is weak or some shit. I think its cause the dude who installed this shit was stupid as fuck. We have 3 tvs in our house along with my internet. Dude hooked up splitters galore. I think the signal is not strong coming into the cable modem.

^^yeah if u use a gang of low quality splitters (im usin monster cable splitters) your signal will go weak. i ran the whole house w/ RG-6 digital cable (was using RG-5) n ran a direct line from the outside, split to the modem then to the rest of the house. also im usin a RF amp to boost tha rest of the house's signal..another thing is to use compression fittings instead of crimping.. < all into this cable shiet..lol

I just bought Monster coax cable, 25ft and 8ft, and another fiber optic audio. I have another monster fiber optic, component cables, and I want a Monster DVI to HDMI cable but shits $100. But then again, I work at an authorized dealer of Monster and can get 60% so I'm going to get a big ass surge protector and that Monster DVI to HDMI for my HDTV and my HD DVD player (my tv only has HDMI).

Monster owns all. I even had the Monster mints LOL.

Ebay is good for the component video game cables. I got 1 for under $20.

I meant to say 60% off. My manager has to sign the shit for every order so I can't just slang the shit and it takes about a month to get them, I don't know why.
