Share some examples of the biggest cheapskates you have done deals with. Names do not have to be included.

I bought two CDs from the same buyer on Ebay. He had a $5 shipping charge, and I assumed that like every other Ebay seller he would combine the shipping charge and discount it. The fucker did not give me a shipping discount. He made me pay $10 for the shipping of two CDs, saying that he has to cover Ebay and employee fees. So I figure that I'll get the most out of my $10 shipping charge and make the bastard mail two different packages. I paid for one only and was going to wait a couple of days so that he could mail that one and then pay for the other. He emails me back saying he can't mail my first one because I have an outstanding transaction that needs to be paid for. So I was pissed off and paid for the other CD. Then he ends up sending both CDs in the same package. What a fuckin' cheapskate. Needless to say, I haven't purchased anything from him since.

I have a couple more to share later on.

How about the people that ship your CDs without jewel cases? How much extra is it to ship the CDs in the cases? Maybe $2 more. But muthaphukkas are so cheap and broke that they would rather save their $2 and send your CDs, booklets, and back cards without jewel cases.

Shipping albums without the cases? lol, glad that never happened to me.
I bought 2 CDs from a dude 1 day apart, and he was charging like $7 bones for each and wasn't willing to combine shipping. I checked his auction a week later & he was charging $14 for shipping (Dude was from the States)...

Lol. I guess I'm cheap because that's how I ship my cd's, with no cases. At my post office the have this thing that measures if the package fits in an averge mail slot. It it does fit the pakage get shipped as a letter if it doesn't fit it get's shipped as a pakage.

Personally I like my albums shipped 2 me with out cases so they fit in my mail slot. So when my dumb ass mailman put the pakage str8 in my mail box and not on my door step so they dont get ganked!

I dont know about Cheapskate sellers, But i have dealt with some Cheapskate Buyers. Just recently some Punk ass Kid told me he couldnt Pay the 14 bucks cause he didnt ask his Mom for permission to use her Paypal. Then on my first ebay account, I only accepted Money orders and these bitch ass fools kept saying they sent it when they never sent shit. I would leave a Negative feedback, and they would leave me one in retaliation. I had to Open a whole new account cause of those bitch ass motherfuckers. If you aint gonna Pay, dont Buy shit. simple as that. But some Hoe ass ebayers are jeaolus of somone buting a CD they really want and bid high so they wont lose it.

It's cheap maybe, but still...if it doesn't SAY that shipping will be combined don't expect that it will be. When in doubt ask.

Also, it annoys me when people whine about shipping costs saying "it cost $10 to ship ONE CD". You as a buyer know it isn't going to cost that much to actually ship it and as long as it's stated in the auction you shouldn't expect anything less. If shipping is $10 and you're only willing to pay $15 for a CD then don't bid anymore than $5. If shipping charges aren't provided ask!

I already know that almost none of you will agree with me. However I don't give a shit, cause it's my opinion ;). I personally don't like when sellers tell me: "Well, don't you know that the shipping and packaging is not everything I pay for? I also have to drive to the post office and pay for the gas, stand in the queue...".

I think it's fuckin hillarious. Well, I think that I should also pay you for the electricity, cause you used your computer. And for the shoes, cause you stood in the queue, right? Plus for your time, cause making the auction also cost you. The scanner, for scanning the covers and so and so on.

Obviously I never responded to anyone saying this, cause that would be stupid. That's only what I always thought. Therefore, I don't buy from such sellers.

Well, when I pay with Western Union, I also drive to the bank. What about my GAS? Our gas is way more expensive (x2) comparing to yours. LOL ;).

So I am assuming that you don't buy from me because that's similar to what I say to the customer that try to get more discount on shipping and handling. A lot of buyers tend to base their judgement on the shipping and handling price on the sticker value of the package that they receive, but tend to forget the add'l costs to handle the product. The definition of handling varies from seller to seller. As a seller, I define handling as the cost of packaging materials, eBay listing fees, end of auction fees & paypal fees (if paying with paypal). If I don't recover these expenses then I would be breaking even or not making shit at all from my sales. Otherwise I wouldn't be sellin shit if that was the case. Considering that I list my auctions starting at a VERY CHEAP price ($0.99/$2.99/$3.99), I don't think the buyer should be complaining at all. The CDs that are sold on eBay go for far less than what you would normally see them selling for in stores, unless they are rare. For a buyer to complain about shipping and handling prices is ridiculous in my opinion. If they want to get them cheaper than the cheap price they are selling for then they are better of buying CDRs.

You also mentioned the fees that you have to pay with Western Union, driving to the bank, gas expenses, and the like. Isn't that for your own benefit?? You agreed to make a purchase with the seller so all of those fees are a part of your interest in purchasing the product and shouldn't be classified as add'l costs. Remember you are the one that's interested in buying the product and the seller is doing you a favor by selling it to you for less than store prices and having the cd available. You went overboard in defining such expenses and ended up not making logical sense in displaying your reasoning.

Anyway apart from all of this issue with sellers/buyers/traders/etc., Check out my current eBay listing of 270 CDs starting at $0.99!

I have had some terrible experiences with people on Ebay (buying & selling) but I have also had some damn good experiences also. Ebay can be your enemy and best friend all at the same time.

My recent bad experience was with a seller. I placed a bid and won for $10 a HWA 12" new & sealed. The seller was RICARDOS RECORDS or something like that. I can't stand when people don't accept Pay Pal. He only accepted mail in payments. So I e-mailed him and said I can either pay via Pay Pal or mail in a check. He never responed, I waited a week. Finally he turned a payment reminder with ebay. I responded and said I will mail the payment. I forgot to mail it that week. Now we are in week 2 and the begining of week 3. I mailed the payment and the next day he opened a non payment complaint. I responded to the bastard and said I mailed payment and I was sorry, very sorry. He responded with a "I don't care if you are sorry-I dont want to hear that, I am giving you a week for your payment." It is stupid that we are even talking, IT IS THAT SIMPLE, JUST MAIL THE PAYMENT. I said I did and it is that simple, you are lucky that someone is even paying that much for that record...it aint even worth it. Then he replies back that he ended the transaction, that I need to grow up and I am retarded and he gave me life guidance. It was about a full paragraph long about how I need to grow up and not be a retard. He said he will mail back my check. I hav not seen it yet.

Some people are retarded.....Fuck him

Ive had muthafuckas use a buyit now and then email me askin if they can pay less for it. WTF is that? Is there a way to set your preferences to where people wit Zero feedback cant bid? I seen to where you can have people wit negative feedback not bid.

Triple X: You shouldn't be treating all I said too serious. Some of the things I pointed out is just for fun.

I do buy from you, cause your shipping+handling prices are reasonable. However there are pretty many sellers that try to cover different expenses and add them to the final price (I don't blame them, it's their business). Therefore they offer me shipping price for $8++. I simply don't respond to such.

To be honest: It just makes me fuckin laugh when the seller tells me that he needs to pay for his gas to drive to the post office. Come on man.

Okay, here goes the biggest cheapskate move of all time. I did a trade with someone else. I sent him the CDs. Then he sent mine to me. My CDs came in the original package I sent his in. What he did was open the envelope very carefully, take his CDs out, put my CDs in there, resealed it with some tape, and wrote "Refused, Return to Sender" on the envelope and the Post Office returned the package to me. He couldn't even pay $3-$4 to mail my package.
