I can only speculate as to why your team didn't make a trade. I'm not claiming to actually know why.

Oh wait, that's right, they're the future!

Please enlighten me on why your team did nothing to improve.

And, you can "LMAO" all you want as your team does nothing for the remainder of the season, "my friend".
Well first of all, the Blazers have the richest owner in all of sports and he is about as far from cheap as it gets.

Second to see evidence of a savvy GM, look no further than the Blazers activity in the 2006 draft. We went into that draft with the worst record and the 4th overall pick and came out of it with 2 of the top 3 rookies of the draft class.

Third, no significant trade was made because there was probably nothing worth jumping at on the table. Every proposed deal that I have seen has Portland getting ridiculous low ball offers/counter offers. When a team offers too little/asks for too much and holds firm you hang the phone up. Plus it is known that Kevin Pritchard likes to trade in the offseason/draft day, as many teams get a feeling of desperation as the trade deadline nears and end up either getting taken advantage of or breaking team chemistry just for the sake of making a trade.

Fourth, yes, they are the future.

Fifth LMAOing all I want, my friend.

U think the Bulls got worse swapping Wallace & Smith for Hughes & Gooden?? If u say so!! I luv this trade for the Bulls Wallace never fit in and makes way to much money, Smith was a nice addition but I would take Gooden over him anyday! But hey we dont all agree feel me!! Got Em!!

Dog why u even arguing with the fading blazers fans?? U know they gon hate cause we demolished them in there thread and told them from jump that there wack squad wasnt doin shit no matter how many games they win in a row!! hahahahah!! Reality has set in!! Got Em!!

I can feel that dog! I think with Hinrich & Hughes in the back court, thats a deadly defensive combo!! And yes Wally is a turtle like I said and same on the Ben analysis!! I mean dont get me wrong LeBron is my fav player so I wouldnt mind if that trade worked out for them feel me!! Got Em!!
Hughes is one of the most hit or miss players in the NBA. When he's on he can be unstoppable but when he's off, do everything you can to keep the ball out of his hands cause he'll throw up bad shot after bad shot. The best thing the Bulls did was Get rid of Wallace and taking Hughes back was probably just the price they had to pay to get Wallace and his insane contract out of Chi.

Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson suffered a left high ankle sprain during the second quarter of last night’s game at Indiana. An MRI taken today at The Cleveland Clinic by Head Team Physician Dr. Richard Parker confirmed the injury. He is expected to be out four to six weeks. His status will be updated as appropriate.
this explains getting west...

I never liked Hughes, i was surprised he did so well with the Wizards. Hes like a Pietris to me but doesnt have as much athletic ability. Bulls should be fine but shouldnt have dealt Joe Smith. Cleveland will definitely benefit getting Joe Smith but i really dont know how Ben Wallace will do with them

I disagree!! Hughes can score 30 at anytime! He played a cool amount also so u are trippin!! Wallace is at the end of his career and Wally is a turtle at 2 guard and he will be a defensive liability!! Not to mention that yall are payin alot for Wally & Ben!! I would rather have Hughes & Gooden! I think Smith will help u guys out though. Well see how it plays out!! Got Em!!
Yeah...he can score 30 anytime...and he can also miss 30 shots a game. He is way too inconsistent.

The Cavs go through Lebron...and we can't have Hughes out there trying to be Jordan. Nothing against him...but he just doesn't fit with us.

You would rather have Hughes and Gooden...but you're also a Bulls fan. The Cavs are a different team with different needs right now.

The Cavs are trying to help Lebron win a Championship. It wasn't working with Gooden and Hughes...so might as well try something different.

Will it work? We'll find out soon enough.

U say I am a Bulls fan, well u are a Cav's fan so whats your point? Dnt matter who my team is, I would prefer Hughes & Gooden over Wallace & Smith! Especially at their age! Anyway u forget I am a huge LeBron fan so I hope the trade worksout for Cleveland also!! I can feel u if u say Hughes didnt work with yall, but to talk like he aint good or has no talent is plain idiotic! And yea they tryin to help LeBron get a championship, and it worked to a good degree last year by makin it to the finals! But again we can keep talkin about this, but time will tell!! Got Em!!

i liked Hughes when he came to the warriors, BUT he really couldn't get it going with injuries and his shooting !!! like everyone said, he's now a decent role player.......His athletic ability is going downhill, but none the less, still a solid player. The trade works for both teams.......I mean, fuck it's the EAST !!! Someone's gonna make the playoffs wit a sub .500 record........
