LOL @ this. He wasn't a top QB last year. He's had one good game this year, and CLEARLY he's a top QB? LOL. Anybody can be a top QB when their at their best. In that case, John Skelton is a top QB from his performance this last week.
Carson was considered a top NFL QB before last year. its been established that he was still playing while hurt. Is phyllis rivers not a top nfl qb? I mean, he's had a bad year so far....isn't that the point you're making? an off year means you suck?

who the fuck cares about John Skeletor?

I am very big on Pryor... I think He has a ton of upside. If he sits the bench and is patient when carson is done, he will be able to step in and play nicely for years to come.... Obviously this is speculation at this point. We never even seen him throw a ball yet in the NFL but I would look at this as a mini farve/rodgers in terms of young guy watching the old guy......

So I guess this trade is worth more than just wins and touchdowns... If you get your next QB out of this trade its a super win for the raiders.

lol. what a dumb statement. Palmer has proven he can be a top 5 QB over an entire season, John Skelton hasn't. Therefore obviously we know Palmer has the potential to be a top 5 QB... you sound stupid.

Whoa, whoa, whoa Dutch! Could of gone with young guy watching old guy, but to compare Favre to Palmer and Prior to Rodgers is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off. Favre has won a superbowl and will go down in the hall of fame and same with Rodgers. Pryor is an unknown with a big upside while Rodgers was projected to be a pro-ready stud with a cannon of a arm and deadly accuracy coming out of Cal. Pretty bad comparison.

I guess I should of just said, Palmer is not a top QB in the league, and will not be. There, is that simple enough for you?
no, it's not. because it's not entirely true. it's just your prediction.

he is not a top QB right now... but you don't know if he will be or not.

he played well enough to be a top 5 QB on Thursday... and that's after just a month of learning the play book and working with the team

he probably won't be top 5 statistically this year, even he plays well from here on out, the first 2 games will offset his stats, but we'll just have to wait and see

I'm just saying to compare John Skelton to Palmer is utterly retarded. Palmer can make throws that only a few guys in the league are capable of... that's why we say if he's at his best he can be a top 5 QB

That's what I was saying about Skelton.
you completely skipped over the part where I talk about how Palmer can make throws that only a few top elite QBs can make... that is what gives Palmer the potential to be a top 5 QB

and oh by the way... Skelton posted a QB rating of 82.8 on Sunday... threw 2 ints and just above 50% completion... averaging 7.9 yards per completion

yeah... that's top 5 QB material right there...:ermm:

Palmer had a QB rating of 125 Thursday... little different...

you fail
