CZAR @CZAR Hell yeah that judge scored it correct, that's how he saw it to be correct. That's like Mayweather being correct saying,"42 tried and 42 failed." When actually 41 tried and he had to give Castillo a rematch cuz he knew Castillo didn't fail the first time. Now that is correct

CZAR you are hilarious.......

Canelo is only a star in the Mexican community but Broner is already a global star right????????

Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit.

Give Canelo his credit and quit being a hater.
Show me where I said Broner is a global star? Ill wait......................Got Em!!

Hater bro......

We get it you don't like Canelo. But damn don't sound like a bitch about it.

The difference the Mayweather/Castillo was fight was close and the score was close but some idiot judge scored Canelo/Trout 118-109 when everybody in the world knew it was much closer. Listen to all the announcers and non biased Canelo fans on this board. So then Bradly beat Manny right? U agree with that? All scores are always correct huh? LMFAO! Got Em!!

It was a close fight and that was reflected by the press scores. I'll post a link later but out of 45 press scores collected Canelo had a very slight edge, nearly split with a handful scoring a draw.
No one is disputing it wasn't a close fight. We know it was.

But before the fight MF's are like..."Canelo ain't fought no one yet"

"Canelo can't hit Trout"

etc

The majority believe Canelo won the fight. Canelo knocked down Trout who has never been knocked down. He held his own and I believe did enough to give Canelo his props and showing people he is a legitimate contender.

But still folks are hating......

What does he have to do? Beat Mayweather? NO ONE has beat Mayweather!

I am not directly talking to you 2-0.....just saying.

The fight was close and we all saw BOTH these fighters fight their tails off. The one judge who scored it 118-109 needs glasses and the other 2 scored it about right in my eyes.

Trout threw 338 more punches and still only landed 30 more then Canelo. Hell, Trout threw 416 jabs to Canelo's 431 TOTAL punches. Now if Trout had actually landed more of those jabs he coulda won but he didn't, Canelo was dodgin' those jabs all night...shit he was dodgin' alot of Trout's shots that night.

Everyone kept saying Trout was gonna "outclass" and "outbox" Canelo and that just did not happen. Period.

Accurate numbers or not Bradley wasn't landing shit. Trout was. That's the difference imo.
lol I think you streamed both fights on a smart phone, you need a bigger tv so you can see the punches that actually landed. Trout land 20% of his shots and even that I think is to high, not to mention a lot of those punches he landed were more like slaps to canelo.

The boxing world got put on notice Saturday night, who knew Canelo had this type of movement. His defense is only going to continue to get better. Add that to the fact that no one is packing a punch like Canelo from 154 on down. Like the fact that Canelo isn't limiting himself to being a brawler just becuase he has a solid chin and has knockout power. He's an intelligent fighter, no need to fuck his health up by taking unnecessary shots. Anyone else see Canelo imitating Ali during the fight?

Point was Canelo vs Trout was close, Pacquiao vs Bradley was a clear victory for Pacquiao. But what are we talking about here? Canelo passed his test, doesn't really matter if it was close or not he now has credentials... he beat a top 154 pounder, no looking back now Canelo has BIG fights coming his way.

The point is people criticize the judges for how they score when they are specifically told to score the rounds by who brings the best out of the other fighter on each round. I had the fight close too, but even then i'm not a judge that doesn't get the angles the way we do on TV. Pac did win the fight, but didn't do shit throughout, so im not surprised he lost.

I HOPE U ARENT DIRECTING THAT TOWARDS ME? Fortunate;y for Canelo he has nuthin to do with the politics in boxing like most fighters but its obvious he is next in line to be a big star, add that with the fact the fight was in Texas, and that Trout isnt a big star with not much of a following and unfortunately the cards were stacked against Trout in winning this fight. It was pretty clear that was the case to me. Thats all I am saying. I was ok with the fight goin either way or even a draw meaning i as ok that Canelo won but again 2 score cards were off. Even 116-111 was off in my book but my frustration is with the politics, open scoring etc...not Canelo so just be clear its not hating on him but he just has shit backing him due to his status thats all. Got Em!!

I thought u said the scoring was fine, but then u say u scored it a close fight? Make up your mind homie. Got Em!!

You can typically go by the press scores to accurately determine who won or if it was close or a robbery, rather than relying on three blind men. Pac-Bradley the press scores were 95% Pacquiao, something like 120-2-2. That tells us everything. Same goes for Lara vs Paul Williams. Judges mean fuck all in boxing/mma.

Actually if you want to know the truth Mayweather rematched Castillo to shut up haters like urself. Unlike Chavez Sr or Oscar DLH guys that fans loves to call warriors but yet both guys didn't rematch Pernell Whitaker after both guys got gifts a draw for Chavez and a UD for Oscar. Why dont u hear more fans talking about Whitaker getting robbed by both Chavez Sr and Oscar and both guys ducking the rematch. But u have nervous to talk crap about Mayweather for rematching a guy that gave him a good fight. Boxing fans are so funny nowadays.
