I know at least in the state of MI, you can't ever own a gun if you've ever been convicted of a felony. For the rest of your life. And if you want to play around and get caught with a gun, you get a charge far being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm which carries a rediculously large prison sentence. As far as I know, nobody who has ever been convicted of a felony is legally allowed to own a firearm.
and on a side note, I heard something about packing your drugs within a large amount of coffee grounds and the K-9 wont detect them. never had to test it, but I heard something about the dogs can't detect the smell of weed through the overwhelming aroma of Folgers.
