^^^^^^true!!!! But Philly is more of a contender than the Warriors are. The 76ers came into their own towards the end of the season and made a run into the playoffs. Plus they play in the weak East.

Fuckin Brand!!!! WHy counldnt you come to Oakland.

Lol, Baron is getting what he deserved. Funniest part about it is Josh Smith is a restricted free agent and thats the Clippers last hope it seems

Why is he ''getting what he deserves''...? It's a business, and he probably felt he had a better chance to actually win something on another team. Too bad the top 2 players on that team left him, and now he'll be the only ''good'' player living in Kobe's shadow in Kobe's arena.

LOL

I dont get it, even had Brand and Maggette both stayed in LA with Baron, I doubt they'd be contenders. Something Baron supposedly really wants

People don't understand the nature of the business. I don't blame Baron for leaving the Warriors. He had to do what was in his best interest and that was to retire in LA where he was raised and where he played ball. Plus its easier for him to make moves in Hollywood when living in LA. Keep in mind he is trying to break through into the film industry with his production company.

this is a good move for the Sixers. They had quite a bit of momentum in their last Playoff run, and adding a guy like Elton Brand makes them ECF contenders.
