You can also request the buyers/customers signature if you really used "Registered Mail". It may take up to 30 days to get the signature back, but once you get it...you can get your dough back. Pay Pal does accept this form of shipping, because A. you can track it. and B. You always can get a copy of his signature with the address that it was sent to. Once you submit that information, Pay Pal will overturn their ruling and you WILL get your money back. I love "Registered Mail". Oh yeah, once Pay Pal get's that signature, they'll also block him from using Pay Pal, then he'll have to use his buddys account or use a whole new credit card, bank account and etc. It will get real messy for him and believe me a mutual friend won't let him fuck up his account. Don't worry, you'll get your money back and he'll end up fucking up his own account in the end. That is of course if you really sent it with "Registered Mail"? At least that's how the United States Postal Service works. I don't know where you are at, but if it's the US...I can guarantee that you'll be okay. If the package is truly lost...I hope that you purchased insurance with that Registered Mail? Lot's of things to think about, but I'm sure that the information that I'm giving you helps.

so about the purchased insurance part, in certain countries like germany, i think the highest is like forty something dollars and you can't purchase no higher. could you explain a little about why you can't purchase higher and what if a package gets lost even tho you purchased insurance.

i bought a refurbished tv on ebay for like $500. Never got a shipping confirmation and the tv never came. So i filed the Unreceived Item paperwork with paypal and after a couple weeks they ruled in my favor. But they said they were unable to recover any funds from the seller. So basically this cunt stole $500 from me. I have 100% feedback score on ebay and I always thought that counted for something with paypal but i guess it doesn't. I've sent thousands of dollars over paypal and they still wont refund my money or take more aggressive steps to getting the money back from the "seller". I was really disappointed with their customer service and I lost alot of respect for ebay and paypal as a company. Ebay is always a gamble and I guess I just lost on this one.

I feel your pain cause i have had it happen too, but you can't really blame paypal. IF there arent funds in the bank account attached to the paypal account then what can paypal do?

Don't be too sure about that. Ebay/paypal overstep their bounds by robbing ppl of their money time and time again. I have lived it and so have many others. Go on the many "I hate paypal/ebay" sites and read the horror stories. Do not in anyway defend those scum. They are not working for you the seller one iota. They will screw you in a second and take your money as well if they "think" you owe them any moeny or to compensate for someone else scamming you and putting your balance as "negative". I have said it many times, your best options are to get out now. Do not do business with that crap company or sooner or later you will be in the majority who hates their fucking guts as well. The reason there was "no funds" to collect was ismply put smart on the other guy's part. See that is one way to screw paypal/ebay and get a small form of revenge on them. Before they do it to you and hurt you. Don't cry about someone else doing the smart thing because believe me you do not want to be martyr. You will be screwed, banned, etc for doing nothing wrong like the many out there who have to create 5000 accounts just to even the playing field such as I did. They are like a internet gestapo, they shoot first (rob your money, suspend, cheat, screw, etc) and never even ask any questions later. They do not care about you and as such you need to protect yourself. Yes registered mail is fine and dandy but believe me you will see that nothing is fool proof and you will hate ebay/paypal and the users of it sooner or later. That is why I got out and was thousands of dollars ahead of them. There is no real way to have any kind of honest busines son there because they will get you. They are scum and so are so many of the buyers on there scum. They found out it was the wrong thing to do to screw with, cheat, and hurt a disabled person I can promise you that. I got too ill to even waste anymore energy on them by even trying to run a small business (sell a few items here and there). It is futile to deal with them but at least they got what they deserved. I only wish they once and for all go out of business. When that happens I will throw a party.

Paypal should be able recover funds from anyone if they want to. Everyone needs to have a valid credit card on their account and a bank account to deposit or withdraw funds. Paypal doesn't give two shits about its customers, as long as they get their money they're happy. FUCK PAYPAL

You think that's funny? Threatening tgo not give him his money back/cd? There's no need for threats if you are in the right. All you're doing is taking advantage of the shit company known as ebay/paypal. If they ran stuff the right way then the seller would not be in such a mess everytime something like this happens. You won't win in the long run because if you abuse the system someone else will be there to return the favor. I can understand the length of time if it goes too long you should do that. I'm starting ot think people shouldn't deal out of their own country because there seems to be so many issues that way with pricing, delivery, and satisfaction. Anyway you look at it though the fault falls on ebay/paypal as well as the incompetence in the postal system when these things just disappear.

Cash (or anyone else) I know I have asked this before and gotten no responses. Are there any other quality auction places on the net, etc to sell quality rare cd's that are exactly as represented. Straight good legit stuff. But not ebay. I could make alot of people really happy and make myself some money too if I can find something. It is really sad when the monopoly company you despise so much seems to be the only avenue to get exposure for your stuff. I mean I cringe everytime I see stuff I have going for 100's each and the condition isn't even up to snuff as mine are in many cases.

Your package was shipped within the time-frame, not 1 month. You put a claim on my money a couple of days after the end of auction. You did not canceled claim when I provided the date of shipping, not even after I gave the trackingnumber to you. You only canceled claim when you realised you had no options of stealing my money and CD because, you had to sign for delivery confirmation.

Des504,
I thought about amazon & some of them music mail order sites but everyone lists their stuff at like $200 each for all these rare cd's. How many people actually go on there and pay that price for something right away? With an auction at least they start out cheaper usually (get the buyer's attention) and then go up higher so people tend more to pay higher prices. But one big price right away like on amazon I don't know. Add to the fact there are a good amount of "regular sellers" on there selling crap (condition wise and fake wise) and not sure I would want to be associated or linked to any of them.
