^^^What do you mean you already did? I said post up something that will change my contention that all Mexican rappers suck. Everything posted in here has only reinforced what I already said. Most Mexicans don't even like Mexican rappers and 100% of every other race don't like Mexican rappers.
Like I said...there's millions of people who would disagree, judging by the album sales. Album sales don't = good music, but it's a matter of taste and opinion. Language barriers keep some people away from the music, because they aren't able to understand the lyrics, thus limiting the message and substance in the raps.
Control Machete, for example, have sold 15 million + (at least) albums worldwide. For a Mexican rapper, that is pretty impressive. Mexican rappers don't get the same opportunities as black and white rappers, but that's ok, for now. Blacks dominate the rap game, and that's fair enough, and whites are often the 'funny gimmick'...Eminem was all over TV, radio, newspapers, etc. more often when he was 'Slim Shady', in costumes and being the goofy white kid. But that's America for you; Who wants to hear "Soldier" when they can hear (and see a video!) of "Without Me", anyways?
I'm not trying to force you or convince you to like music you don't understand. I'm open to many genre's of music, but that's me. Like I've said...most Mexican rap is shit. But the 5 or so percent that is good, is great, to me. I can feel proud listening to Sick Jacken, or Kinto Sol, or Control Machete, because of the hard work and sacrifice they've made to get to the top of the Mexican rap game.
WTF did the white man do for either of us? I can't think of anything. lol
