congrats SD fans. Good game. SD defense looks good.

Regarding Chi-Town, turnovers killed 'em. Can't have 4 in one game and expect to win. Grossman didn't play all that bad, I think the main problem was the lack of running game and of course the fumbles by Bensen/Peterson.

Chi's defense looked great. Any time you can hold LT to 17 carries 25 yards is a huge success. Looked good against the pass too. Lack of offense and TO's is what lost the game for da bears.

Good defensive game by both teams.

That was an awesome Defensive game. Rivers needs to shake some rust off, always throwing behind or over. Jackson needs to stop dropping passes. All in all, the game went as expected with the Chargers winning! 1-0 and on our way to another unbeaten home record.

^^Should of been a penalty on SD when he got injured. Any word on how many games he'll miss?

**Edit**

he Chicago Bears are bracing themselves for another long stretch without starting free safety and locker-room leader Mike Brown, who suffered what appeared to be a serious injury to his left knee during Sunday's 14-3 defeat to the San Diego Chargers at Qualcomm Stadium.

"It's not looking good," Bears coach Lovie Smith told Yahoo! Sports as he walked to the team bus outside the stadium. "We'll run some tests and pray that we get a good result, but it's not looking good right now."

Brown went down with 9:51 remaining in the fourth quarter, after a six-yard run by San Diego halfback LaDainian Tomlinson to the Bears' 7-yard line. The eighth-year safety was down on the field for several minutes before walking off on his own power. Brown, who earlier had an interception and a fumble recovery, did not return to the game. He was later listed with a knee sprain – a designation that could suggest a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

If so, it would likely mean season-ending surgery for Brown and would be a blow to the Bears' defense, which has grown accustomed in recent years to playing without the Pro Bowl-caliber safety.

Last season Brown went down after six games with a season-ending foot injury, missing the Bears' first Super Bowl run since 1985. He made the Pro Bowl in 2005 despite sitting out the final four regular season games with a calf injury. In 2004 he suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Chicago's second game and missed the rest of the year.

Fuck. That hurts. Too bad because when healthy he's one of the best in the game. Looks like his body is just breaking down on him, might be time to retire. fuck!

yeah definitely looks that way. I read in the post-game interview he broke down in tears which to me indicates that he knows he's done for the year. The guy cant catch a break.

Besides losing him, it's shitty for da bears cause they let Chris Harris go so I'm not sure who will take his spot...Danieal Manning?

They also may have lost Dvoracek for the year too:

There is a good chance Brown suffered a season-ending knee injury, and Dvoracek's could also be serious....Dvoracek's injury is also concerning, but it will take a couple days to evaluate the extent of the knee injury.

If Dvoracek is out, Darwin Walker moves into the starting line and Anthony Adams, who was inactive Sunday, would be the third or fourth defensive tackle. The Bears have had Israel Idonije playing tackle and end.
