This has been fuckin with me since I first saw it on the news. Looking at the footage there is nothing leading up to or during that points toward the need for a gun to even be drawn. Not even for a taser although I did hear that story as well. The kid was essentially executed and the guy who did it, Cop or no cop needs to be brought to justice. As for a protest, I think there needs to be a decision made before a protest is done. At this point it's one stupid cop who killed a defenseless young man. If he is backed by the department or if he is exhonorated or acquitted or no charges are filed then by all means there needs to be action. Right now what are you protesting? He was already killed. He is not continuing to be killed. Is it overall police brutality you are protesting? If that is the case then I can dig it. Again, I am totally in agreement that this asshole cop needs to be locked up like any other criminal as he committed murder but I say let's see what they come back with before any action is taken. Just my opinion...The opinion of an "Idiot" according to the townbizz23 guy.

the thing is they never even interviewed the cop yet, so all that bullshit about the cop mistaking real steel for a tazer is all speculation on the part of BART officials. with all the cameras that caught everything, it's there only excuse to cover it up...last night on the news they were interviewing an ex BART official of some shit and they quoted him saying "what MIGHT have happened is the officer PROBABLY mistaken his gun for a tazer because they are near eachother on the belt" or something close to that...which is bullshit like i was sayin in another thread, the cops life wasn't threatened, the kid was on his back with other cops holding him down, so it aint like he had to react fast and could have possibly gotten them mixed up, but even still, you know damn well when you got real steal in your hand or a fuckin plastic tazer gun, and its your fuckin responsibility to know the difference because you are trained to do so...

this shit gets to me everytime it comes up mayne FUCK THE POLICE

he wasnt the only cop there, the man was on his back with an officers Knee in it. WHY the FUCK was anything other than HANDS being used. What messes me up is that this young man has a daughter and there are enough young girls growing up without their dad in the O.

Decison has already be made. There will be a protest to make sure that BART knows the community is behind this family and they better do the right thing. Without any public attention who knows what could be swept under the rug. The more people at the protest the more media attention.

wow that's disgusting, and one of the worst excuses I've ever heard.

They're basically saying the average macdonalds trainee has more common sense and skill than you're average P.O.
