as a hiero fan since i was 13, i am very happy they won! lol
they may have not dropped a new album as collective but they have side projects on are consistently on tour. these cats have set the path for artists like zion i and blackalicious. yes its a biased answer! lol
now i am also a huge marva fan. however, i don't see why she won, she hasn't dropped nothin since 05, but hey, good for her!

true..... ima big fan of both del and hiero, but zion-i deserved this one.... hiero could've got the hall of fame shit, but not group of the year....

lol, if you consider being nominated for a BARS AWARDS a "big deal" then you need to get out the hou... well, get out the BAY more for that matter. If you consider winning BEST RADIO PERSONALITY @ the 1st Annual BARS AWARDS (last year, just in case you missed it) ... if you consider that 100 years ago, then your sense of time is shot little guy. How in the hell am I going to down play the significance of that? Hmm ... I think the cats who shut it beat me to that. As far as what did I win ... am I even important to anyone? lol. I'ma just leave that one untouched, because all that is a lil irrelevant towards the subject at hand.

The BARS award show is a black eye for the Bay period. The shit is unorganized and probally only around as another hustle for some mothafucka trying to poor pimp the Bay Area fans out of some money. I think it's a GREAT IDEA, but the execution is beyond horrible. This award show makes the Bay look like a bunch of ignorant ass holigans with no home training. You got "OG'z" acting like 5 year olds. 50 nigga crews trailing behind "real tuff guys" who can walk through any hood and be good. Artist not even putting out matterial in the year of 06 winning awards. No women (unless they were promotion or in a contest) and all around disfunction. I hope to god that this i the last one of these by this company or person because the shit was terrible.

yeah i was thinking the same thing when i saw del and heiro. dont get me wrong, im a big fan of them, i just dont see why theyd win an 06 award.

and does the award "best hip hop" mean best "backpack" rap? is that what theyre awarding?
