oh yeah, del did release the 11th hour dvd this year...and that shit was tight...no album though (just a dvd talking about the making of an album that is like 3 years overdue and probably wont be released for another 8 years)

So the award show did that ? the award show all by itself , it has its own magical power to make people do certain things or act a certain way ?

No it doesn't have magical powers, but the spotlight and a platform to those whom have nothing better to do with their time but get on a stage and act as ignorant as possible needs a magic trick to make those types of artist POOF the fuck up out of the Bay's way of growing and branching outside of this reigion for the MUSIC not the silly shit or the DRAMA. But magic is all illusions, tricks, smoke screens and diversions to hide the truth so I guess you can say that the award show was in a since a magical event. Because when it comes down to it mysterious awards, "now you see it, now you don't" money for tickets spent by a dooped public, disapearing respect throughout the country (not to mention credibility) as well as in the Bay...yeah it is actually starting to sound like a Hocus Pocus event. The sad part is some people KNOW the show is not on the level and yet they poke their chest out as if is. So I actually don't think it has magical powers unless your speaking in magic being illusions and figments of ones own limitless imagination.

but you hit the nail on the head. its who you know that much is obvious. some artists are deserving but alot aren't. but hey, its a my folks know yours kinda world!
