I have no problem with any Aboriginal living in Australia, what I do have a problem with is ANY race bitching and moaning about how tough life was and how the fucking world owes them shit because of past evils. Inhumane shit has been done to almost every race in history, lands have been conquered, peoples have been wiped out, this is life, in order to move forward you must learn from the past and go in the opposite direction. Be stronger and make ure it never happens again.
I acknowledge the severity of every atrocity in history, not just one. All minorities suffer racism here and everywhere. Noone is special. Everyone is equal.

why in the history of the world have there only been 2 aboriginal models ever to land the cover of vogue australia? the most current (samantha harris) while beautiful, is half german and very light skinned. now, don't get me wrong… i'm not saying that makes her any less in touch with her culture and i think it's great that somebody is representing aboriginal beauty in the media, but it's pretty fucked up that there still seems to be almost no representation of actual dark skinned and non visibly mixed aboriginal people.
it's not really a shock though, kind of like how almost all the indians in bollywood are hella light (indo-aryan) or how the majority of the latinos in the telenovelas are blonde and blue eyed caucasians (as opposed mestizos, or afro-latinos who make up a huge amount of the population but get almost no representation in the media… that's a whole other rant though.)
