Yeah I was surprised when Tyler won on that show...

But I'm curious... Number one sold 600,000? Is the industry that bad? Damn.

If Tech is selling at #10 right now, those majors on the top of the list are the last dwindling companies clinging to radio, IMO.

Have you never heard a Beastie Boys album?

If the answer is No, get the fuck out of the internet, and any credibility you had as a Hip-Hop listener is gone.

Not suprised at all. Tyler is machine created, whether people believe it or not. Now MTV has recieved their dough, and the Tyler push is coming, actually it has already started.
Yeah, he got bump in the charts the last couple weeks because of the hype surrounding the VMAs. Two weeks ago he was 199 on the charts, last week he was at like 150 and this week he went back up to 96...sold 4k which puts him at 108 total.

Still 20k less than Tech. Tyler debuted selling on 1k less than Tech (and this was weeks before Tech) so I'm surprised he's fallen so much further off pace.

These were in the albums that have sold 1k or more list on that site...

BROTHA LYNCH HUNG - Coathangastrangla : 16,711
JAY ROCK - Follow Me Home : 9,043
TECH N9NE & DJ WHOO KID - Bad Season : 6,849
BIG SCOOB - Damn Fool : 2,514
KUTT CALHOUN - Red-headed Stepchild EP : 1,727

I mess with Scoob. Sure he uses the same flow on every song and his rhymes are pretty simple. The fact of the matter is, though, he saleability is about zero.

SIC hasn't sold 1k?

Kutt never created a KC fanbase like Tech did. So, he will never do very well in Sales when the hometown doesn't support.

BigScoob too.

130,000 for a completely Indy artist is fucking amazing! That is straight BREAD!! $$$$$$

If people were trying to leave during a Beastie Boys set Id attempt to slap each and everyone one of them before they got away.

That's BS..you can be a legit hip hop head and give two s--ts about the Beastie Boy's...I dont mind the BB and actually like several of their songs, but you are overdoing it....

You don't have to like them, but you should at least have some degree of respect for what they've done
