its hella worth it to jailbreak...dont it to like 5 phone no problems.

you can get this program called "installous" and get any program from the app store for free....along with many other tweaks to the phone like quick reply texting, and different keyboards and wallpapers and shit...hella worth it.

i tried to do it like this

when i was restoring the custom firmware in itunes it said could not restore ipod, and had some error number. Oh well i'll try again tomorrow

I did the jail break on mine, I can't imagine not jailbreaking it, there is so much more shit you can do it's insane.

the only thing that will fuck up the warranty on the iphone is unlocking it b/c you cannot restore any factory settings like jailbreaking it....So no need to worry. The mic on my old iphone broke after it was jailbroken, all i did was restore the factory from itunes and took it to a mac store...I got a new phone w/no questions asked..

yup...tell you step by step what to do...all you gotta do is get the right firmware...hold the home button for the like 5 seconds, then the home and power for like 30...you get the idea it will tell you

nope, music plays, apps play and the only problem i ever had was some of the programs wouldnt install cuz they was outdated.

id only use quickpwn. its the most reliable and trusted one. never even heard of quick freedom.

as for the other "golden apps". go to itunes and look at the top 50 paid apps and just download all those that you would like to have.

i guess it doesnt work for 2g ipod touches like you said. if i was you id just wait til firmware 3.0 comes out and just do that then. cus once 3.0 comes out you going to have to upgrade to 3.0 firmware and then jailbreak again. supposedly its supposed to come out in june. so wait like 7 weeks.

o, the cydia apps. they got nes player were you just load nes roms onto the phone after you downloaded and installed the program. they got a playstation emulator but its not that good. download winterboard then you can download custom themes for your phone. you can get that wolfenstein 3d game on cydia for free compared to 4.99 at hte app store. theres also installous but ill let you figure that one out.
