Anyone ever painted their car matte black?

I'm sanding down my car for primer then getting it painted matte black. Oh boy.

Yea I've googled matte black on BMWs. I was just asking if anyone on here has done it before.

Im restoring this type of car. 1983 BMW 533i. Only in production from 83-84 and only 10K produced.

I have a set 3 piece 5 spoke 17's that need to be re-polished and then I plan on getting them powdercoated black with a machine lip.

I painted my LeMans flat black with about ten cans of spray primer. It looked killer after all was said and done.

i enjoyed the heads turning as it was a little before the flat primer boom of the late 2000's.

Fuck, I look back and I was ahead of the curve so many times, but I could never get my paper right.

Fuck it... I digress.

^^^^Yeah I'm starting my project this month. I already got my sound system together. Infinity speakers all around with Power Acoustik tweeters and a 4 ch MB Quart deck with 9 sheets of dynamat. Now I will be making a stop to home depot for some sandpaper. I'll take pix of the whip whenever it gets done painted.
