I think he's worth something. He has game experiance and a cannon with decent touch when his protection is there. I really think they should hang on to him somehow but they're already crowded as it is and he has the least invested thus making him expendable.

In hindsight, why would you trade a 2nd rounder for McCown and Mike Williams when you pick a QB with your first pick and Randy Moss and Darrell Jackson switch teams for 4th rounders?

LOL.. Why would the Lions give the raiders McCown and then later take Walter, who is a worse QB than McCown.

The Lions have four better QBs already than Andrew Walter with Kitna, Orlovski, O'Sullivan and Stanton.

They had to put Stanton on the IR for a two week injury because they didn't have room for him, so no way they trade for shitty Andrew Walter.

I agree with you on Walter, but, besides Kitna, those other 3 no names have amounted to a big pile of hot shit in the NFL...

A lot of people besides yourself seem to think so.... but I don't think he's any good. A lot of Qb's have strong arms... but Walter just makes bad decisions even when he has time sometimes. He has improved working with Kiffin though. Walter had the lead on McCown and Culpepper and now he's been dropped to 3rd string... so that should tell you something about Walter.

Well, Stanton's a rookie, so he can't do anything in the NFL..

Orlovski and O'Sullivan, though, Orlovski, I don't think is good, but O'Sullivan just won NFL Europe MVP, and the only reason that the Bears released him was because of roster space issues.

Still, if the Lions would've ever wanted Walter they would've traded for him when they gave up Williams and McCown for a fourth rounder.
