im feelin many of lil jon's trax... that 808 and 909 shit is bangin...

TVT is a mini major... one of the only indie owned labels doin' it big with gold and platinum albums... big albums from Tha Eastsidaz & Lil Jon have helped establish these cats... I remember the Phat Beach soundtrack back in the day....

Plus it doesn't hurt the pocket to have the publishing company they have... they got broke off from Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River" & Ja Rule's "Clap Back" produced by Scott Storch

and to add to that they got broke off $50 million from Island Def Jam as a result of a lawsuit in which Island was sued for blocking that CMC feat. Ja Rule album from being released

Yeah he is all over the air waves right now that's for sure. Turn on the radio and I can gaurantee you'll hear a lil' Jon beat/track within 10 minutes listening. Despite the fact his shit all sound the same, his beats and hooks are all catchy as fuck in my opinion. I'll listen to the shit once and find myself singin' the same shit 20 minutes later. Lil' Jon is just the hottest producer right now and everybody's tryna get a piece him while he last. It'll die over and some other producer will come along soon and control the radio air waves...

LOL @ that analogy....I never once said "they wrote the check right away"...lol. I think we ALL know that did not happen.

My point has and remains to be that when you said "that TVT is an Indie label and CANNOT afford to pay off radio" you are COMPLETELY wrong....they are a MONSTER INDIE label.....matter of fact...one of the few that is really doin it and continues to do it year after year.

I have my own opinions and this one just so happens to disagree with yours and agree with what the FACTS stated regarding that which concern TVT and it's "so-called" small stature as an Indie Label...it has bread to pay what it needs. Is this the reason LIL JON runs the airwaves? Shit who knows? lol, he is owning the producing game in a major way right now in the south so I know that is a BIG reason he is runnin the airwaves...and when you do that...the "majority" just wanna hear it whether we others like it or not.

I say more power to him...I am with any cat that's runnin the business who has busted they asses, mofuckas need to be FORCED out they positions in this game and that is what he's doin....he's sayin "you don't want me in this spot runnin shit? then move me out my spot....make something doper than my shit..." I like that attitude...cats just gotta step up to the challenge. Like the saying goes....when you on top cats want your HEAD....it's nothing new.

<---- yes man? never that.....have you dropped an album? you preach alot on this forum and I am assuming you know from all the experience and albums you have dropped locally and nationwide. If you have done all that, I stand corrected and apologise...but if you haven't...do it, then preach to the choir homie....cause untill then...you are speaking from your "assumptions" and reading....it's like having thoughts on a war and never being in one.

Happy New Year.

who gives a shit whether they pay them or not? I NEVER listen to the radio by choice. If they do pay, so what? it's a fuckin advertisement just like a commercial, a billboard, or flyers down at a mom and pop. The radio ain't for me for the reason they always play the same shit, if you listening to it, you have no reason to complain. The radio is a buisness, nothing more nothing less.

it took 7 Lil Jon singles before he finally cracked heavy on radio...
GET LOW was the one that made him damn near a household name and propelled KINGS OF CRUNK to platinum...

7 singles... that's a heavy developmental situation....
