If you want some free work out of somebody, and that's obviously the case, you need a stronger and way more convincing reason for them to do it other than the one you've presented.

Who knows though, you might come across some sucka who thinks it's the opportunity of a lifetime. We all know there's plenty of those types around.

ITS SO HARD TO GET THRU TO A SMALL MINDED PERSON LIKE YOU.

its not a hand out. Believe me i have professionals wanting to do this cover. this is designed for a person who has the talent and the ability to be a professional and start his or her business but needs a jump start a (outlet) to showcase what type of skills this person has, and what better way then a big solid album by Spice-1/ Jayo Felony. It's called giving back. What label or artist have you seen or heard give back to the underground? u can call it what u want. from your post the only thing that your on is that HATERAID!!!!

I'm the idiot? LOL. First of all the only idiots are going to be the ones that design a cover not knowing what kind of shot is going to be used for Spice and Jayo. Second of all you're not even paying, just looking for a handout.

If you had any sense you would hire a professional to get a good job done. I'm guessing being a bad businessman with a crappy record label doesn't pay much?

Also, quit spamming. Just post this shit in BART and the ART forum. That's not just a statement but a warning. :siccness:
Hey tony your a lame-one. you and your warning can get a life groupy.

@Green-Eyes:

You just posted 5 responses in a row which tells me you're a pretty sensitive dude. Which in turn tells me you likely ain't cut out for the business world and are a bad decision maker in general since your mouth moves before your brain thinks.

Small-minded is getting on the internet trying to con cats for some free work, claiming it's their chance "to be a professional" and an example of how you're "giving back". That shit is laughable. If you want to 'give back' to the underground then feature them on the album. Sponsor an open-mic night. Whatever. Do something worthy of being called "giving back".

Professionalism ain't a subject you should speak on until you can show some. And it's no suprise you're crying 'hater' either, considering how quick you fall apart when someone disgarees with you. That "hater" card is usually the last line of defense for somebody like that.

Originally I was only suggesting you need to tighten up that weak ass sales pitch but obviously you can get spanked too, guppy.

^ Co-signed. If you want a quality cover then you have to cough up the money for it, like Thirdeye253 said, this isn't just a hobbie, we eat off this, a lot of years are behind what we do and a lot of time and effort goes into it. I'm sure the exposure on the winning cover would be great for a graphic artist trying to come up, but realistically that doesn't do anything for business and why would anyone with clientelle waste their time doing free cover work? I don't know about anyone else but I don't have time for that. Regardless of who the RAP ARTIST is on the record. This is a business just like anything else. Graphics, Printing and Design are probably the most important and difficult part of an optical disc project. You have to pay for a professional job, otherwise you get junk. Most up and coming graphic artists (even if their graphics are mind-blowing or wack as fuck) don't know the first thing about the technical aspects behind computer graphic design for print. Anyways goodluck with your contest/competition, but I have a strong feeling your going to get a bunch of bunk submissionsthat you can't use and then you or the label-mates will just end up paying for the cover work from someone who knows what they are doing. If it comes to that, hit me up at [email protected] but until then don't waste my time.

This contest isn't for you. It's for again the designer that has no outlet, that wants to build a portfolio a resume.

U wasted your own time by giving your 2 cents. and that was a lot of time u wasted too. wasting time like that don't make no money.
