whose gonna win the coachin battle cuz shottenheimer has like 12 postseason losses charger fans need to think about that
we know marty 5-12 in the playoffs
and he know his job is on the line
we got a 14-2 record, LT is the mvp. but its the playoffs and that don't mean shit unless we win the superbowl. it has been reported out here at the beginning of this season that if marty don't take us past the 2nd round he will be fired. it has also been reported that if he goes, so will the offensive staff. also the bolts want a stadium, and a superbowl win would virtually secure that. so a lot is riding on this shit. lot of pressure.

alright here is thascary1's pick

Chargers!

Pat have looked like shit all year. I could care less they won a weak ass division, I could care less they won the wildcard round...it was a sorry ass jets team who stayed with them for awhile. Brady is good but overrated. When he plays a decent defense he is not that good. Hell he can't beat denver in or out of playoffs and the Chargers blitz more than us.

Chargers look good had some rest and don't have to travel across country. LT will run right through the pats d, and gates will keep rivers #'s respectable

LOL @ tom brady bein overrated... lets see 3 superbowl wins 11-1 in the playoffs how in the hell is he overrated?? he puts up some of the best #s in the league year in year out with no star wide recievers period!! unlike every other "star" qb in the league... when the game is on the line he can make 60-70 yard game winning drives look easy and he has proved this time and time again.. he may have been suspect in a few games in the REGULAR season but that matters none now in the playoffs..

I never said he wasn't a good qb. But he is no elway, montana or marino.

Yes he has wins, but that d is just as much to gve credit too. What about vinatieri?

Brady is good, yes, better than 85% of nfl qb's right now. But he is not the reason they won 3 super bowls or are 11-1 in playoffs. Homefield defense and special teams plays a huge part of that.

Patriots take this one. I think they started rolling when it counted the most, and are hot right now, plus, nobody's got the experience that they do during this time of year.

ok you say venatieri... back to brady leading the pats downfield with ease and settin A.V. up for the chance to kick the field goal... sure the d played a part just like in every championship team but brady LEAD the team not the D... and for you to compare him to montana elway and marino is rediculous.. brady has been in the league for 7 years (1 he didnt play) and these men are retired.. we have no clue if brady will put up #s to get into their league but since ya went there

brady since he started (6 years)
21,564 yds 147 tds 78 ints

montana first 6 years as a starter
18,156 132 tds 67 ints

elway first 6 years as starter
23, 015 113 tds 100 ints

marino first 6 years as a starter (complete years)
25 961 195 tds 117 ints

looks like for the first 6 years as starters he fits right in with em...

well, i aint gonna sit here and say that i aint worried, cause i am. this game is gonna be tough. I do however think that the pats fans are putting too much emphasis on Tom Bradys playoff numbers. They also are putting too much emphasis on LT, the bolts can kill you many different ways. What happens when LT lines up in the slot and micheal turner is in at back? Also saying that Merriman will be contained, thats fine...We'll just unleash Shaun Phillips who had 11.5 sacks this season and Luis Castillo who had 7-both these guys missed considerable time this season but will be healthy and ready to go sunday.....we shall see what happens

The last time the Chargers played the Pats they skunked 'em... 41-17... LT has run all over their defense... 100+ yards the first game, and 217 yards the second game (no joke)... so once again Fuck New England... SD takes this one...

The postseason is way different than the regular season. The regular season only counts because it's how you get to the postseason.. That skunking will not be repeated, even if the Chargers pull through this.
