'Even filling up my car is a public appearance,' he said. 'I just smile and people assume I'm 50 Cent.'
The 25-year-old even fooled Sharon Osborne into thinking he was the real deal when she saw him in the audience at an X-Factor show.
'She spotted me and started screaming,' he said. 'I just went along with it.'
As well as being asked for autographs every time he steps out, he enjoys VIP treatment on his nights out.
'I never pay to get in,' the mechanic said.
But the dizzy heights don't end there for the Birmingham man. He added: 'I even get free burgers at McDonald's.
My girlfriend thinks the whole thing is brilliant.'
