I HAVE THIS TALK WIT MY FOLKS EVERY OTHER MONTH! AS AN ARTIST IM TRYING TO MAKE MONEY, GET A SONG ON THE RADIO GET PLAYS THEN GET SHOW MONEY!! THE RADIO IS WHERE THE MONEY AT!! THE MASSES LIKE JAY-Z RIHANNA KANYE SOLJAH BOY ALL THE SHIT, BUT INSTEAD OF MAKEN A BAY AREA VERSION OF RADIO MUSIC WE COMPLAIN WE DONT GET LOCAL LET ALONE NATIONAL PLAY! I RELATE IT 2 CRACK THERES A RECIPE, U CAN PLAY WIT THAT RECIPE HEAVY SODA LITE SODA SHIT EVEN 7-UP, BUT U GOTTA STAY CLOSE 2 THE RECIPE OR U DONT END UP WIT CRACK!! MY POINT IS TAKE THE RECIPE OF MAINSTREAM ADD 2 PARTS OF WHAT U DO N U JUST MIGHT FIND THE MASSES LIKEN UR MUSIC!!!

1. Pittsburgh has no reggae station.
2. Pittsburgh has no "hip hop" station. Or any rap station, for the matter.
3. Pittsburgh only has 1 decent local artist, and they don't play him on the radio much.
4. I have a choice of Kiss fm, which is gay as fuck, or Bob, which is gay as fuck.
5. I own an iPod.

1. Von Johnson is annoying 2. Dont even know if shes still on the radio but Sona G is even more annoying then Von 3. 94.9 Sucks more than 1 and 2 4. Same songs over and over and over and over and over and over 5. No more TOM LEYKIS bring back TOM LEYKIS that cat is hilarious........................................ talk radio personality used to be on 106.9........................

1. All the music caters towards females... super-soft funnystyle topics about trickin... which doesn't sit well with most of us cuz the Bay's the most notorious region when it comes to doing the opposite (ie Killahoe, A.O.B, Born to Mack ect.)... so many of us can't relate...

2. I don't know if these 'artists' have been outside lately - but it's a recession out in this bitch... Nowadays the radio got niggas talkin about how many whips they got & breaking bread on hoes... I don't need the radio to be killin' game while I'm rollin to Jack N the Crack cuz my gurl talkin about she hungry... lol plus when it comes to the cars - I'm knowin' they ain't finna have not 1 of them mufuggaz in a few years time...

3. Many of the DJ's are way more concerned with their ego's as opposed to the quality of music that is being played...

4. Same 10 songs from 5 diff 'artists' who are all part of the Clear Channel/Viacom monopoly...

5. Most songs on the radio sound like shit due to over-agressive limiting/compression in the mastering stage... this becomes painfully apparent when played on the radio cuz all material is subjected to further limiting/compression as it gets transmited - to the point that when it's getting played in the car, the dynamics/life of the material is gone... this problem has grown increasingly worse since the 'loudness wars' began in the 90's...
