peoples, go watch 'The 300 spartans' it's an old movie but it is very similar and shows some of the tactics thought used by the spartans.
Being of part hellenic descent, for me this move was great to show the world how brave the Spartans were and how well trained and fierce the greeks were back then in general.
To those laughing at what they wear, you need to stop looking at it with 21st century eyes and understand this is what they wore back then. The spartans did not wear armor apart from helmets as they used the phalanx formation to protect themselves. They wore red so the enemy could not see them bleed. And they did not wear speedos they fought half naked with cock n balls hanging out.
The Spartans were among the greatest of warriors in ancient times, their society while harsh, was just and fair. Democracy started in Greece and you have them to thank for it
Ancient history is a great thing to learn about, don't wait for school to teach you go look it up yourselves.
