so who all went and seen this? i checked it out this afternoon and i have to say as both fan and filmmaker this was a beautiful piece of work. cinematography, editing and effects were all on point. the acting was great, and the story flowed just as it should have. clocking in at just under 2hrs. it was niether too long or short. i loved every second of it. Leonidas is the shit.

(spolier)

I just wished they would've shown his decapitated, crucified remains at the end, as this is what historical data states Xerxes actually did afterwards. I think that would've really fucked some folks up (i dig shock value), but all in all 10/10!

Visually was perfect. Looked like the graphic novel in motion.

The additions to the story were pretty weak, I can see why they did it, but I didn't like it.

I actually found myself thinking during the movie . . . "I wish they would show more of the fighting" . . . and for a movie like this I think that's a serious flaw.

This was my second most anticipated film of the year thus far. I give it 6 1/2 outta 10.

^^^That movie owned you.

This movie was hard. The whole thing was beast. It could have shown some more interaction with Elephants and such but other then that it was tight.
If only Frank Miller would have done Alexander that would have been real tight. Ohh well maybe next time.

Frank Miller didn't do this movie either dumbass.

No Shit you fucking idiot. He did the Graphic Novel though. So once again let me make it simple for you. I wish he would have did and Alexander the Great Graphic Novel that would have been turned into a movie. Simple enough for ya?
