DOBERMAN.....I dont like groove boxes..so that settles that..no groovebox for you....haha...really though, after the mpc3000 I never looked back..also..i like roland sounds...there are some older synths like the classic roland 1080 wich excepts expansion cards...Your rs7000 can also get new sound from sample c.ds.....The other day i was thinking.....these bass patches on my motif rack are punks...then I went to motifator.com and they have custom sound banks for motifs....well my rack doesnt sample,or load up compatible disks, has no sequencer..Its just a sound module....however there are custom patches that are sold and you load it up via midi dump...Now i KNOW I can tweak and customize my own sounds, but besides being occupied by numerous hours on the sicc swapped out with watching t.v. and laziness..I never get around to it..its not like my jp8000 where i have a grip of knobs and sliders,I can make my custom sounds its fun that way...then again it aint like programming sounds on my tx81z...a fm synth...that synth you create sound by starting with no sound and picking algorithms, and then a shit load of other parameters...so to make a long story longer..i loaded these free sounds I found on there for my motif....the bass sounds aint no punks,...aint no moog...but at least respectable...alll i had to do was save the midi info that i downloaded from site...load it into my yamaha sound editor software on computer..press a few buttons on motif press send button on editor...ba bammm..128 new sounds...even a few good electric pianos,synths...so Your rs7000 can get some new sounds as well.....
