that 2-3-4 combo might be the best power hitting trio of all time. Aurilia had a slight down year but more than made up for it other years.

also NLCS MVP Benito Santiago is my girls godfather. I just got DOPE tickets to the reunion game on sunday, hoping to meet him.

damn I loved that 2002 team and it still pisses me off when I think of game 6. The 02 team is way better than the 2010 team on paper, but the 2010 team had that "it" factor and they sealed the deal. My favorite Giants team of all time is actually the 2000 team tho.

Yea but people are assuming that the clutch hitting that came out of no where for the '10 Giants would also be there in this series, to me its more about can the '10 rotation shut down Bonds and the rest of a stacked line up

I never thought the 2010 team would win the WS I was fuckin shocked....been a lifelong giants fan but kinda lost some interest in baseball more than the team after bonds left, I remember going to spring training in 2006 with my pops and hearing all these people yelling shit at Bonds when he was in LF or at bat, Bonds to me, the GOAT, so I kinda said fuck baseball because of how dismissive they were of him during his career. I say that to say, the 02 Giants were like the Bad Boys Pistons, Kent Bonds Santiago were the bad boys of baseball no doubt, Kent was a sav, Bonds was a legend, and if you walked Bonds Santiago mugged you down Rod Beck style, where as the '10 giants this slap stick comedic group I dunno so opposite of each other that it has changed the dynamic at the ball park to a certain degree
